Apparently a couple of the PDL's I have are CSO's (CashNEt USA and Payday One)...I owe them money but don't have it right now...not even enough to make some sort of payment. I had to start paying on my student loan which I'm sorry...comes as top priority compared to these. Question is...PayDay One hasn't been calling and leaving threatning messages but CashNet USA has...they keep giving me deadlines to call them before the "refer to their attorney" or whatever...I keep getting these "you must call by noon tomorrow"...well, I never do. Has anybody here ever been taken to court by a CSO?

Hi...I'm being sued by R&R on behalf of capital one. I do have other bills under collections right now and I'm trying to deal with each one, one at a time...honestly I'm scared. I just graduated from school, have only a part-time job, making only enough to try and cover bills for which someone cosigned for. I can't ruin their credit. I've been reading so much negative feedback about R&R-which really makes me want to cry. I am willing to settle/pay off the debt but not with the amount they listed...my credit card was about $780, and now it's $1300 once they've gotten a hold of it.

My girlfriend tried to payoff an account a year ago and it seems like she didn't send enough to fulfill payoff maybe because of miscalculated interest. She didn't receive anymore statements and assumed she had paid it off. Now she has a collection agency (Credit Solution Corp, and I've read some threads on them already! Seems like bad group, being very rude and making threats to her) saying she needs to pay almost $600! I thought I heard awhile back that creditors can't charge you a late payment amount if you owe only a little on your account. And most don't even other to follow up.

If a company reports on your credit report that a account was opened in 10-2004 and reported 06-2007, then they change it to opened 10-2006 and last reported 07-2009. Did they just re-age the credit file? IF so what are case law and law pertaining to this?

Hi I am having a lot of problems with Renown hospital garnishing my pay for medical bills that i had 2 insurance coverage for. They are telling me that they could not find the copy of my insurance and because the account is now 2 years ol they can no longer bill my insurance. I need help. These are very big hospital bills and I do not know what to do. Any suggestions???

So say I win this credit card arbitration by default as the other side doesn't show up? Can this case then be bought by another collection agency and can I be sued all over again?

Im trying to buy a house and i was told i need to pay off some medical bills and get some revolving credit before i can get approved. I know there used to be something called Piggybacking where an authorized user inherited the original users credit account. I know FICO no longer calculates these accounts, but what if someone were added as a joint user where they were both accountable for any defaults? What would be the downfall by doing this? Does the good credit holder inherit the not so good credit holders history or is the one good account only transfered to the newely added joint user?

Has anyone heard of a collection company called CSI? Caller has a heavy Indian accent and calls himself Eddie. The call is very threatening.

I do not believe they are legal in Minnesota and am thinking I just have to pay back the principle which I have more than done. How can I be sure?

i have a payday loan i havent been able to pay them off(cause they wont work with me)now there telling me that they will contact my manager, HR DEPT. AND even come to my job can they do that?
