So I got CMG to settle for the 200 i owed. ACC is actually refunding my overpayment. Loan shop settled for the 50 I owed. Now Geneva Roth, US Fast cash and United Cash loans have gone completely quite except for United Cash response to the BBB that my letter was a form letter and completely full of innaccurate info which it was not.

I've been reading through the wealth of information here and want to say "thank you". I am in the process of writing a response to a civil summons in NC. I am being sued by Mann, Bracken on behalf of Target. (on my credit report this has been charged off by Target). I am within the SOL and once I file my response will be working on getting some kind of a settlement worked out (I hope). I understand how to answer each of the numbered statements on the civil summons (i.e. agree, disagree, not enough documentation to agree or disagree).

I have a judgment against me for a credit card debt, and while I have a full-time job with wages am I also going to risk losing my car? I do need it for work on the weekends when there is no available public transportation.

me and a ex boyfriend each loaned each other money for properties which is in each others name. none of the loans have been repaid. what is the statue of limitations to collect this or could it be brought into a partition suit. the loans were made anytime from 2003 to 2005. we have nothing in writing about the loans or properties and all loans were in cash. Is there any recourse or is it each others word against the other. its a mess. please help.

I haven't worked in years, my spouse filed a solo bk, ch 7 (on all our debts; I did not file; mainly to protect his income as he is the only worker in household.) I have one creditor still attempting to collect on a debt, should I inform coll ag I have no income, assets would be exempt according to law, etc... or not respond. These people are considered some real scumbags; I had to file complaints with the atty gen offices of Ohio to get them to stop calling after sending a c & d.

Now Magnum cash Advance has me set up on a payment plan for $113 for the next 10 bi-weekly pay periods. Now...my original loan was for $896 and since I have made payments of $371 to date..that leaves...$525..which would be about 5 payments of $113 left. Should I quit there knowing that Magnum is an ILLEGAL lender. They are not taking the payments out of my checking account. I am doing them via Western Union. What advice should I follow here.

I wrote them back again today and told them that I was only willing to pay back the $200 principal amount that I borrowed because they are giving loans Illegally!! I got an e-mail response back saying that they were going to suspend the loan which means that they are not requesting any future payment or any future interest payments. They are no admitting any wrong doing so it's almost like they are pleading "No Contest!" It pays to keep fighting with these people.

So I get this weird e-mail from United Cash Loans. It said I can log on ot this website and make an offer to settle my account. It says that once my offer is accepted I can start to make payments. Of course I would have to make payments online, which I am not willing to do, MO only but I thought it was weird they were willing to accept an offer
