I had a federal student loan from Sallie Mae. Due to the economy in Michigan and family problems, I had to quit going to school. Due to this Sallie Mae Demanded $170.00 monthly payments. I could not pay them, because I was paying for so many other things, trying to help my family. They didn't care, and the problem persisted until it got turned into National Enterprise collections. I finally got ahold of someone from the collections agency TODAY. Both of the people (a representative, and a "director") were very cross and threatened my well being.

hello everyone, i am from new jersey where payday loans are illegal. I have 11 internet loans and will be putting a credits only block on my account with bank of america tommorow morning. All 11 of the companies are due to debit on monday 6/29 so they will default and i will begin the process. I have my letters as outlined by this bored ready to be emailed and faxed tonight.

I defaulted on an illegal payday loan with cmg, and midland financial. I live in ny. The account was turned over to ACR (advanced credit recovery). Because of abuses to the fair debt collection practice i reported them to the BBB, AG, nys dept of banking. Their response to my complaint to the BBB was to state after internal review that they did nothing wrong but that they would not contact me again until after i recieved a debt validation letter from them. Well behold i received a email for a settlement offer dated 6/25/09. by the way the response form them was dated 6/15/09.

I live in SC. After researching your site yesterday, I realized I was way in over my head. I had enough sense to stop all ACH debits at my bank yesterday afternoon until I could get some more information from this site. I have 8 internet payday loans currently open (9 including ChecknGo, but I don't have an issue with them as they follow the guidelines of my state). 2 of these were closed, but I re-opened (borrowing from Peter to pay Paul). None of them take full payment each payday - only fees are deducted.
