I recently had a judgment ordered against me in regards to a debt with Citibank. That was back in March. Today I received a letter that reads: ---- Dear XXXX: Judgment was recently entered against you. Therefore, I am enclosing an Information Subpoena for completion. I call your attention to the Rules governing the Courts of the State of New Jersey which allow for the entry of an Order holding you in Contempt of Court, requiring you to appear in Court and explain your reason for your failure to answer.

Hi! Does anyone have any information of SonicPayday? I have used them for a long time, and I always paid them on time. Right now I have so many payday loans that paying them off (They don't renew) is not a possibility. I borrowed $1500 and I have to pay $1905 in a few days. (This was a 2 week loan) I live in Texas. Does anyone know if they will work with me?

Have a cc with First Nat'l Bk./Omaha in which I owe approx. 14,000. Havent made a payment since approx. feb 09. Received notice from Professional Rec. Svcs.,Inc...Voorhees, NJ that they now have the debt. Sent them a request for validation and received a short ltr. along with nothing more than my April 09 statement. Is that sufficent? What should my next step be in dealing with either first nat'l, or PRS? Thanks.

Hi all - Sorry I haven't been on much lately to help out. I've tried to post and clean the boards when and where I can, though. I just made a 1-day trip from Michigan to Chicago yesterday (about 480 miles round trip) by car to take my youngest (age 11) to meet up with his dad and stepmom. He has decided he wants to try living with his dad for a while. Nothing wrong here - just wants to try it out. He's at "that age" - I'm sure any of you with kids understand. Just time for he and his dad to have "guy time" together.

hi. I took out a pdl at cashland store for $250 and then I was laid-off a few days later. I went to the store and asked for a payment plan and they said it had to be returned by my bank before they could make arrangements. so the bank returned the check and I called to make payment arrangements. the collections person (mrs. banks) and I have been playing phone tag for over two weeks. I checked my account today and they sent the check to my bank again.

Recently I've been threatened with wage garnishment by the department of education due to a defaulted student loan that I aquired in 1990. Can my wages be garnished in the state of Texas? What is my best course of action to settling this debt. The Dept. of Edu. is calling for the entire note of $30,000 which I can't afford to do at this time.

I have been "lurking" on these boards for several weeks now. I am in pdl hell too. 16 internet loans.. (i honestly lost count. only realized how many when I got them together for this post. obviously got some issues i got to work on besides paying off these loans huh?) only 3 are legal because in MS you have to pay in full at the end of the term. no rollovers or fee only plans or partial payments are allowed. my and my husbands whole checks are going to these and overdraft fees. I finally saved up enough to pay off my overdraft protection at the bank so i could close that account.

I have recently just come into some extra money. I can either pay off some cc debt (which is about 30k) or pay off a high lease of 500 monthly. If I pay off lease it will free up money to pay off these cc's. Can someone just tell me what they think will benefit me more?? Thanks for any suggestions.
