I am in the process of cleaning up my credit. There is an account on the Experian report only that does not belong to me. It is a Bank of America charge acccount. I have never had a Bank of America charge account. I noticed on one of the pages it has my name and 2 of my past addresses but then it has another person with my name California address that is not me. What do I do to get this taken off?

I live in Kentucky. I was an idiot and took out an internet pdl in June of 08 and i am still paying on it. It has gotten too hard to pay on it now, and i have estimated that i have paid 2915.45 in fees and principle since i started it. when i originally took it out, it was for 200.00, i have "refinanced" it over the past year, so that I know owe 1000.00 in principle. any suggestions on how i can get myself out of this mess!

I've got myself into a bind now with debt. I like many amaerican's lived on my heloc and cheap balance transfer promo's. It seemed like I was going backwards each month, as I started tracking it. I've had two kids in the past two years, and wife is no longer working because of it (would be a break even).

Ok So I owed a business a little over $1000.000 they agreed to take 4 checks post dated. The first 3 went through fine. which brought the balance down to $300. My account went negative so before the check hit I cancelled it and contacted them saying I would bring them the money. Due to the account being negative, I told them I would have to bring little bits at a time until my bonus check came in and I would pay them in full.

Well heard from them today...they are threatining to send me to collections unless i pay the balance with 24 hours. The same old thing about the law....told them good luck. I would pay the remaining principle which is 210 but on my terms.

Almost ninety days into our debt settlement program and they are tracking us down at work with phone calls. They also called my parents house yesterday. Can they do this and what can I do to stop it? Thanks.

I am starting to worry about this economic situation...big time. hours have been cut from overtime to maybe 5 hours a week! I am needing/wanting to know what to expect during these times. Is there a pattern to this recession?

Transunion has let three collection agencies pull my report. Two are owned by the same company and all three are apparently dishonest according to what I am reading. I owe no debt, I've never been contacted by them, there is no past due debt on any of my credit reports, nor do I have any. I guess they could have bought old debt, which would be over 10 years old (product of divorce disputes over credit card debt). How-ever if that was the case, wouldn't they try to enter that on my report?

I went in to look at my bureau reports and noticed that only three of my accounts have been sold and the rest only state charged off or written off as bad debt. Is it safe to assume that the ones that do not say sold are still with the OC? And should i be trying to settle with the sold off accounts first? Any help you can give me is appreciated!
