Need help fast. I just got a call from a private number from someone that sounded Indian. He said that he was from a lawfirm and that I had a loan that I defaulted on . He said that I had to pay him $1095 on a $300 loan. He told me that I had to give him my debit account info and that I had to send him a fax saying that I authorized him to withdraw this money out of my account. I asked for his phone number and he gave me a 12 digit number. Well he left me a message telling me to call him at a different number, I did and it was disconnected.

I get my mail at my parent's house and my mom just found a letter from 4/10 from Stellar Recovery / Current Creditor Crown Asset Management for Household Bank Card. They are sayiing I owe $655.49 but will settle for $262.20. I have to notifiy them in 30 days if this isn't right which 30 days has passed because I just received the letter.

Hello. Live in Florida. Owe Chase 22k. I haven't made a payment in six months. I never received 1 phone call from them. Sunday my name showed up in our local paper as Chase vs. Me. I did offer Chase a settlement several months ago but received no response. Not sure where to go from here. Several other companies, including Advanta, have already settled with me. I still owe Chase and Elan. Any advice would be appreciated.

I received a letter today from the above. Thinking this was my local Bank I called the company. They stated that I could opt out on who they furnished my credit info to if I called and told them. I got a recording asking for my account number (if you dont have your account number give us your Social and then the recording asked for my zip code. Later I questioned my actions and called the President of my Bank. He stated he has never heard of them. I checked the web and it is loaded with complaints about this company. May I please hear from you.

they are threatening to send me to chex systems and the 3 credit bureaus. i sent them 3 letters and emailed them a bunch of times. what should i do now? i borrowed 750 in the past couple of years and paid 1345. thanks.

The number which came up is 856-780-1000. I called back immediately and left a voicemail for the caller advising not to call my employer again and that I am aware of my FDCPA rights. I work in mortgage collections. If PA is wage exempt, how can they collect? I talked to my attorney. This place is rotten.
