ARe there any credit cards for bad debt/rebuild credit that won't scam me with fees? Most credit cards advertised for "bad credit" have very low limits and huge fees. You end up with a card that has maybe $50 avalable credit and you end up paying back the fees instead of getting to use it. Worse yet, they never seem to increase the credit limit so you endlessly end up paying nothing but fees on the card.

when a debt is unpaid it goes into collection. I have one on my file that is two years old. If i don't pay it - what happens? should I pay it ? is it correct that collections which are more then two years old do not impact credit score much any longer? thx! help appreciated!

I told him i couldnt understand him and call me back when you find someone who speaks clearly. So he tells me to hold on and puts his "senior" attorney on the phone. So this guy is telling me he is a lawyer in California, mind you I live in Jersey, saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest. He said I have to be in Cali by tomorrow morning or else therewould be a local officercoming here tomorrow to arrest me. So I asked for his phone number.
