Hello, I received news that I have a default judgement against me in NY concerning an alleged credit card debt. The first sign of this was on 5/12/2009 when there was an ACH action on my bank account for $8,000. They have now hit my American bank account 2 more times for $12,000. I called Rubin and Rothman after the first hit and spoke with a fellow named Koron. He said the debt owed was $12,000. They have now taken a total of 20 G's. Now, that being said. I have not lived in NYC or the states since 2002. I live overseas. The lawsuit was filed 8/04/2006.

i just received a call from a company from new york(i couldn't understand them it was something financial..phone number 716-213-4370).they say they now represent ashland. my ashland funding was $325..they now say i owe $580. they mentioned chex systems 3 times, that they were going to contact them. any advice?

Hi I get a letter from Northland Group Inc last week offering me a settlement payment , and making it in 3 payments. It shows current bal.

Before I start, I just want to add that this is not a spam or a get-rich quick scheme to make million within 5 mins kind of thing. With experience, I will tell you how I made $500 just last week. I took a 5 days leave and with a little planning by last friday, I got my $500 and a little more. I live in the state of florida. My car was repoed last year. I was contacted by the company and told I owe 8,000. I had made arraingements to make payments. I had a pause because through research on the internet, I found a case in Tallahassee, Barnett Bank vs. Johnson, where they repoed their car and sold it at a dealer only auction. The judge ruled in that case that they were not given the opportunity to reclaim the car, and by selling it at a dealer only auction there was no attempt to get as much as they could for the car. This is kind of what happened to me.

Just in case this starts WWIII, I deleted two pending guest posts this morning. They were posting to FYI's thread about being laid off. The poster was the same person in both posts. The content was inappropriate and was a personal attack with some serious negative comments.
