I dont understand! I did my homework and gave ALL the info that was asked of me, and yet the ONLY reply I got was a 'HANG TIGHT' days and days ago. I feel like the people who didnt read the rules about what info to provide here and just posted their story (with no specifics like they are supposed to) get more help! Im not trying to complain or anything. I just REALLY wanna know my next step. PLEASE HELP!

I am just looking for some answers and guidence. I have already been ripped off by one company and now my husband and I want to put all of debt into a settlement company since we just can't afford to pay these payments anyl onger. I am scared to even go with another company, I've been researching for days now and my head is spinning. I'm wondering if I should just do this process myself. Any advice from people who settle on their own is much appreciated. I just hate to pay a company anywhere from 5,000-9,000 in fees. I have about 50,000 I want to settle up on. TIA

I know that being in a repayment debt management program, must harm your credit, but I'm wondering if you have REALLY bad credit does it help it any? Anyone who has been or is in a debt repayment plan have any insight? I'm just curious.

I have come pretty close to destroying my family's finances thru pay day loans. I have been stuck in a cycle for 2 years with these places. CashNetUSA. I have paid them 425 in fees in my latest loan taken out on 3/31/09. I still owe the principal of 850 plus the finance fees. PayDayOne. I couldn't tell you much I have been paying and and getting higher and higher ammounts. Most recently beginning of this month reupped to 800 and still owe principal of 720 plus fees. PayCheckToday. Been paying on for ever still owe 250 plus fees.

I'm getting dozens of calls daily, even Sunday, from Encore for an individual whose name isn't anything like mine, plus I don't owe any creditors. The calls come with no caller Id identification, but I was able to get them to tell me it was encore. When I talk to a rep, they refuse to believe I'm not the hispanic gentlemen who owes a creditor, Who are the proper authorities I need to notify to stop the calls? Phone company? FTC?

hello, I just received my JB robinson card in mail. I logged into my online account and the credit I was given is 1800$. does anyone have experience with shopping there? how soon can I see them reporting on my credit, to which bureaus? how long will they report without me buying anything? any other info or comment on this card are welcome! I am trying to build credit but not sure what to do exactly with JB to get the best out of it.

Ok I know you can get the free annual CR, however I already used ours late last year and now I need another one. For both me and DH. What is the cheapest and easiest way to do that? Thanks Reny

why is it easier to get neg accounts to delete from tu than the other bureaus? any suggestions??

I've seen in some forums that there may be some tax implications when settling debt but there are exclusions for insolvency. What is the technical difference between being bankrupt and insolvent? Don't they both mean that you have more debt than you have assets? Thanks .....
