I have traffic tickets in the state of CA. It has messed up my credit also. I don't live there anymore and they added money from court costs that I didn't even know about. It's almost $4000. Would it be wise to try to handle all that money this way?

Midland Credit Management has been contacting me off and on for ages about a Discover account from the mid-90s. It's well past SOL and no longer appears on my credit reports (at least Equifax and Experian; TU won't let me access online for some reason). Generally, I don't talk to them and just pitch the letters. The past two weeks, however, they've managed to catch me on the phone. When this happens, I tell them I don't have a Discover account and don't know what they're talking about.

I was using PDR for my old PDL's, 3 storefronts and 3 internet. The internet ones ARE illegal in MS but when I tried to bring that up the lady at Progressive she starts saying oh no there not I want you to pay these off because I've seen what they can do to people. Now, I hardly think that every single person on this forum is wrong and she is right. I think it was more of she wanted to get the money. But whatever. ANYWAY I have heard very little from CAs on the illegal PDL's. Just a few phone calls and letters at first and then they went away.

hello all:) i have a situation and if someone has a moment pls advise: my CR in November 208 showed 2 collections, each of about 100$ and one old good standing bank line,closed but never late. since then, I managed to have one collection deleted , the other one is still under investigation. I also opened a Crown Jewelers $2500 trade line in March and just this week was approved for JB Robinson card - not sure about this line detail - whether it is any good and how much it will be. I just received an email that it's on it's way in the mail.

Im so glad to have found this forum! Im caught in the evil payday loan cycle. Ive been stuck in this for MONTHS and I need out! All accounts are still in good standing, but this is snowballing and im afraid im gonna lose control. Heres how it looks for me now... ALL are storefront (except check'n'go. I got it online but they have storefronts here in Washington state) (I listed these NAME, AMOUNT BORROWED, FEE) MONEYTREE - $477 - $75 CHECKMASTERS - $500 - $75 CHECK'n'GO - $350 - $50 So I have all those plus checking act advances from my bank every 2 weeks.

OK, I called one of my CC companies but I am confused. The balance is $5,100 and they said I could settle for $3,580 if paid within 90 days. Now I asked for this in writing and this is where it gets confusing. The woman said to send out the first payment within 10 days. I asked for the settlement letter first and she said it would go out AFTER they've recieved the first payment. I told her that I was leary on sending out the payment before getting it in writing. After that she just kind of blew it off and said to send out the payment and hung up. Does this sound fishy?

Hi Can someone help me find out what I need to do? I am stuck in the horrible multiple payday loan cycle. I have not missed any payments but am heading in that direction. I don't have enough to pay the fees with my next paycheck. I have 9 different internet pdls and live in missouri. Can I consolidate these loans? Please help :(
