LVNV bought my credit card account from GE Capital.I sent a DV initially to Resurgent Capital, and they sent me a debt validation on a plain paper, with just an amount and original creditor name. After that I found a better letter on this site, and sent another DV to Resurgent capital.

has any one delt with ford credit? On my credit report they report 0 balance but have a charge off against me.A CA bought the debt from them. Who sould I send the PFD letter to?

I'm trying to purchase a house, I knew I have had bad credit in the past. Thank goodness for the 7 year rule. I now have on my credit report a total of 8 Accounts with a total debt of $ 3,497. Two of the accounts have charge offs, in wich I want to send a PFD letter to the collectors.My credit score is a 511-585 i need to raise the score to a 700.

I am working with norstar cash and payday loan yes to pay off my outstanding loans ive already closed and opened a new account payday loan yes wants me to pay 3 payments of 180 after ive paid them 315 or 210 already nor star cash wants me to pay them 5 payments of 98 dollars these were only 300 loans... so how do I tell them..."nope sorry, just paying off the remainder" thanks!!!!!!!! :? :(

I used this company - I paid $155.00 for 9 months and they have only settled one payday loan ( I had 5) for $150.00 and the rest of the money I paid has gone to bank fees, PDL Assistance fees and there is a large amount unaccounted for ($500). I cannot get them to answer emails now and when I am transferred to the line for current customers, someone answers but immediately hangs up.

I curently owe money to several of these payday loan companies and I'm a New York State resident they are Tendollarpaydayloan.com for $300.00 paid $150.00 have had several loans through them and paid them. UnitedCashloans.com 300.00 paid 180.00 Kenwood Services llc 250.00 paid 0 Titan Group 300.00 paid 0 Nationwidecash.com 400.00 paid 120.00 Mycashnow.com 300.00 paid 368 paydaytoday.com 300.00 paid 90.00 I closed my bank account about a month ago and sent out emails to the ones that had given them to me.

if i default on my perkins loan, voluntarily set up payments and pay off W/collection agency..how is this reported on my cf? where does the 7 yrs start from?

i have a debt w/nco..i sent dv..got shotty info back..i followed up w/pfd letter..nco wrote me a letter stating that pfd was illegal and they would not engage in illegal collection practices per fdcpa..ha hah ha..since when? but anyways, is paid for delete legal? i don't want to get into trouble here..please advise me..

I've been getting really threatening phone calls from a Daniel Mehar from ACA. He said that he is a lawyer and that I have a scheduled court date, he keeps calling my work and puts me on hold when I ask him to validate his balance. He said there was a lawsuit filed against me from 500fastcash.com and when I called 500fastcash, I paid my loan in full and they told me to ignore his phone calls. Well I'm still pretty freaked out and I've told him to stop calling but he won't.

Has anyone had to deal with these guys? They are absolutely horrible. They got awarded a judgement against me a while back and started garnishing my wages in December of 2008. The garnishment is almost over (thank goodness) but when I called them to confirm that they said I had another one pending. This supposed pending garnishment had a Satisfaction of Judgement filed on it back in March of 2007. They claim that it was done in error and tried to petition the court to open it back up in December 2008.
