My husband had a credit card account assigned to Academy Collection Services. My husband explained to them that he was in the process of filing for bankrputcy, and was advised by his attorney not to make any payments to creditors that was listed in the case. Well, ACS still demanded the payment in full. Since they didn't want to accept what my husband told them, they call our house several times a day. We mostly ignore the calls but sometimes we'll pick up by accident w/o looking at the caller ID. When answering, it's an automated message.

I live in mo loans w/ advance america 500 kwik kash 500 ezmoney 500 all store locations i get about 10 calls a day from the same 3 toll free numbers but today a call came thru private and the guy stated he got my case and theres a summons for me but didnt leave name or a call back number can you go to jail over this im really worried any info will be thankfull some numbers that do call 620-665-6032 800-660-5542 866-346-0996 512-326-7900 do they ever stop calling and when you do try to make arrangements they want it there way only can someone please guide me w/ info thxxx so much

where does a person go to get a fresh start i was married at 21 and seperated by 24 im now a single mother of 2 children my credit is shot i need a divorce from him he lives in a different state has a whole new family hes living a great life in ohio while im in mo barely gettin by cant get a house or loan because everything was in my name and i couldnt even begin to try to pay payments on anything the money I do make goes towards the current bills I have Ive been at my job for 3 yrs now I just want it all erased and start fresh now im lookin for any and all advice I could get if anyone can hel

Help please! I need an e-mail address for Credit Protection Depot if possible from their legal department. I have faxed and e-mailed them my CD letter and they still threaten to ignore my ACH revocation. I cannot close my bank account and when I tried to place some stop payments those nice ppl from BOA weren't helpful at all. They would charge me 30$ for each stop payment but since my account is already overdrawn that would trigger more overdraft fees...etc etc I just need my e-mail to CPD to get to the right person!!!

Just getting started and need some help..... I'm trying to clean up my credit reports and have a question about my Transunion report. This is regarding a GEMB/JCPENNEY Account that IS within SOL. My TU Rpt is reporting the account twice once with the correct account number and balance but wrong acct closed date. And then again with the same account number but with 6 different numbers in front of it (therefore the wrong acct number) with $0 but correct dates.

Who looks after the tax issue once bk is file?

Hi everyone, it's my first post. In an awful situation here in Missouri. My girlfriend and I have a joint checking acct. Here are our PDLs - just the online ones, and I'm leaving out my pdl cashnetusa, as I know that one is "legal".

So this company purchased a debt of mine that i beleive is past the SOL. I asked them to validate the debt and they sent me a letter saying they purchased the debt from the company who sent them an electronic file with my name and what not and an amount i owe. i asked them to provide me with more proof other then stating they have an electric file and they repsonded that they have already provided me with proof and that they do not have to provide anymore and if i send them any more letters asking for proof said they will dismiss the letters.

when filing chapter 13, do the trustees keep get records of all your bank accounts, the incoming and outgoing transactions? what exactly is the 341 meeting?
