My husband had a credit card account assigned to Academy Collection Services. My husband explained to them that he was in the process of filing for bankrputcy, and was advised by his attorney not to make any payments to creditors that was listed in the case. Well, ACS still demanded the payment in full. Since they didn't want to accept what my husband told them, they call our house several times a day. We mostly ignore the calls but sometimes we'll pick up by accident w/o looking at the caller ID. When answering, it's an automated message.
