i sent a debt validation request to one om collection agencies on my report. i got nothing back in return. but they(ca) updated their info on my tu file within the 30 days, but i got nothing..do they have to send me anything or is updating on cr enough? any resolutions at this point..thank you..

does paying or settling an old charge off more than three years old, help my credit score? Does paying multiple charge offs help or hurt my score? Long term or short term credit score...

Hi, my credit card debt is over the 10k mark and I have a student loan on top of that. I have finally ran out of the money in my bank and I don't know what to do. I'm in the semester of college and plan to move to a different city in June. I've been unemployed since January, with no luck landing a job. What are my options, if any? Could I get a debt consolidation without a source of income?

I really need to stop these charges immediately. I am not behind on any loans yet. My situation my differ because I get paid by weekly but then get larger bonuses frequently. I will have enough to pay these people off within the month, but I need to stop these charges immediately. What can I do they all go through this Friday

so around jan of 09 i sent them a c&d letter in regards to paychecktoday and cash advance network. they responded through mail that my acct will remain in a c&d status. so today at work i get a call from a lady at arm of florida. the first thing i ask is you know you have a c&d on file. she said yes but that is for paychecktoday, she said i'm calling about cashadvance network. she said since its a diffrent account the c&d doesnt apply. i told her my work number records all incomming and outgoing calls, shortly after that she told me to call her on my lunch break, yeah right.

I have a home and owe more than it's worth (not a new issue). I was wondering if I can qualify for a home loan modification.

When settling credit card debt, are banks able to determine your yearly income. ALso, if you are already setup to debit your checking account to pay monthly payments, can the credit card companies tell how much you have in the account? I'm not sure how to convince my creditor that I can't pay the minimum payments any longer. Any help appreciated.

Someone from bass & associate threatened me with legal action if payments are not made for a paydayloan. Any info?

I was recently sued by CACH, LLC, i had heard nothing from the company prior to suit. I have read alot of bad stuff about this company and was given the advice to request debt validation. I sent them a certified letter in febuary asking for validation of the debt amount and the origional signed contract after their employee told me over the phone when i requested it that they could not provide it.
