Hi, I am new to this forum and very confused. I have 7 internet payday loans out. I have contacted Progressive Debt to help me consolidate, but this requires me to close my bank account and/or put a hard stop on all ACH transactions. Is there a better way to handle this? Any advice is appreciated. I feel so overwelmed and helpless.

I currently have FFEL consolidation loan dispursed in 2005..I just read info about direct loan consolidation for public service forgiveness...I work pt at my local school and do not qualify b/c of my service hours..Is there any loan that will forgive any portion of a student loan balance for pt service? Should I consolidate into the direct loan programs? Can anyone explain the difference between the two..thank you..

Could someone please advise me on what I should do to help my credit score? Here's my situation: All my bad charge offs on charge card will drop from cf within the year..i have an open student loan in deferment showing 90 days late...i have a charge card with a small credit limit ($20.00 balance) with 2 late pays(30)..I have a car loan paid as agreed..My credit score sucks around 590..How can I improve it? Any quick fixes? How can I improve this score?

My sister is receiving calls from a Commonwealth Financial stating that it is from their legal department and I need to call Officer J.ones and reference case#....... The number they say to return the call to is 866-703-1014. Is there a way I can find an address to these people so I can send them a cease and desist letter along with a verification letter? I am in the state of Texas.

I closed my bank account and sent all 4 of my payday loan lenders revocation letters, in which I also revoked wage assignments. I am retired from a Railroad and receive RR Retirement Benefits from the RR retirment board. Should I also let them know about this?

Does anyone have any info regarding Relief LLC based out of Nevada for settling my payday loans, they are offering me a really good deal, but i am leary. Please advise.

Hello, I have 2 last payday loans that I'm looking to settle. One is with Kenwood Services. The original loan was for $350 (with $105 finance fee), and I have paid back $630. I blocked this debit and sent my c+d letter several times requesting that my account be marked paid in full. I just received a call from a representative who said that Maryland law doesn't apply to the company because they are licensed in Delaware to lend. She offered to settle the account for one payment of $350.

I received a fax from BofA stating they will settle for the terms we discussed on the phone. I posted a payment with them wich follows the terms on the letter. This morning I get a call that the letter was not approved by there manager and that the settlement will not be accepted. Can they do this? No where in the letter does it say "waiting for approval" Thanks

Ms. Bradford called and I gave her my bank information. She told me the same thing, that if I didn't give my information that day, they could attach my wages. The original balance is $720, and settle for $576.00 with the 1st payment on 5/1/09 and last payment of 288.00 on 5/29/09. I dealt with SSM,LLC and Titan Groups, for a payday loan. What should I do? I have the 800# @ home written down.
