I sent out the first email and received an email back that said that they are not governed by my state laws because they are covered by Federal Laws/Interstate Commerce Act. What do I do now?

I just got a call from a Willie Adams with Britt & Associates "law firm". I had a loan a few years ago that I have a small balance on but my bank account was tapped into and money taken from me, sending the payments I made for car and rent in the red. I had a pretty bad ordeal and I'm still trying to catch up. I have yet to pay off this debt, but I have every intention of doing so. Willie told me that I wrote a bad check to the loan place...and when I told him I didn't write any checks, he said it was an "ACH" so it was the same thing.

I am working on paying off a few legal lending PDL's and one illegal in my state: VIP Loan shop. So far I have overpaid them $392.50, I blocked them from my bank last week, and they weren't able to take the ACH of $142.50 that they planned out after that block, however today they presented an electronic check that went through for $192.50. I am calling my bank right now to see what can be done about that and I have also written the letter revoking ACH rights to VIP, however there is no loan number or anything to send to them.

In Sept '09 I borrowed $40k from a friend and signed a promissary note. The terms were 2% annual interest for 3 months: 5% for 3 months and 10% there after. I paid back $40,800 after 2 months.
