Anyone ever dealth with Capital Collections? I have done everything possible to get rid of them. Debt Validation letter, BBB, AG, FTC even a lawyer but they still call me at work, called my parents house not sure how they got their number. Help I live in MN they ignore my lawyer i have filed harrassment charges but they have a PO box so we are having a hard time serving them papers.

I am switching carriers and was going to keep the same phone number no in hindsight thought gee with all the collection calls i am getting maybe i should change my land line number and my cell number. What do you think the reprucssions in doing this would be, would this not force them to send me something in writing?

I got this call on my voice mail at work today the persons name was Janice and her tone was extremely rude! Did not leave company name. Who does this number belong to and who do the normally collect for? Thanks

I have loans from Loan Shop Online ($200) and have been paying on it a long time. Think Cash x 2 PaydayMax. All online and 1 storefront which I think I can deal with. Can someone tell me what OR's laws are or where i can look. Anyone can any sucess with consolidation or should I try to do it on my own? Thanks in advance.

I've searched high and low looking for an address to the company going by the name of: Pack Management Group, LLC (whose emails to me say that "all customer service will be provided by B&L Services" phone: 866-943-6712 fax: 866-943-6714) Has anyone heard of or dealt with this place before? I have 2 loans they issued me that I need to get to work on cleaning up, but it seems like they are one of these places that is doing anything to make themselves invisible.

I recently closed my bank account and sent my letters out to the payday loans that I had. This is one of the responses that I have received. The loan was with National-Paydayloan.com. The loan amount was for 300.00 dollars, and I have paid them back a total of 450.00. Heck I am not even asking for a refund, but I thought maybe you could give me some advice as how to proceed. I received 2 messages from this company. They guy told me he had my DL #, email address and bank info due to recent internet activity. It really sounded like someone was using my information for fraud. I called the company back and asked what kind of business they were. The first lady told me they were a "research company" and when I asked what type of research she got rude and hung up on my. I called back and the guy that answered said he was in charge. I asked what type of business they were and he refused to tell me.

Ok I was looking at stuff about 1099-c..and I found this on the instructions for filling out the 1099-c stuff.... Ok so..going by the IRS, then some types of debt are NOT able to be 1099-c....heck I would almost argue that a debt collector couldn't do it at all since they are not anything listed above, it seems to me that the OC credit card company or the finance company or whatever would have to be the one to file. It references a bunch of pubs so I am going to dig into this deeper and see what I can find out.
