I am desperate for help.   I cant get capital collections to quit calling me at work about my pay day loan,  I have literally tried everything.. got a lawyer BBB, FTC, AG complaints, cease to call letter, blocked their number they call from a different # what to do..  the letter was sent certified receipt they just wont stop at anything what can i do

Anyone used Larry P Smith & Associates in Chicago to deal with Collections problems related to pay day loans?

I just stumbled across your site and found it extremely informative. Am in trouble with PDL's in Texas. Can anyone tell me if Cashnetusa.com, thinkcash.com, paychecktoday.com, ameriloan.com and iadvancecash.com are legal in Texas? I have loans with each and they are killing me on every paycheck. PLEASE HELP!!

I receved a debt collection letter in the mail today from RJM.  They say that they purchased my BOA checking acct-overdrawn.  This account has been closed since 2004.   Is this kind of account considered the same as a credit card account with the same SOL?

How do I find my posts?

My husband's car is VERY VERY late in payments. They have sent people to the house but the car isn't there. I am unemployed and he barely has any hours. We have two small girls and living in a motel. We NEED this car but have no money to pay for it. It is VERY late in payments. They have since stopped coming to the house they think it is at and have sent us to collections. The collections agency has offered settlement amounts on the remaining balance of the car. We still cannot afford that but we are trying to see if we could use my tax refund.

I have a debt that was placed on my credit by Quest which I ahve explained over and over that I do not have their services. They still placed a collection on my credit. I have talked to several Quest reps which assured me that the account was closed and even gave me a termination number,I still recived a bill from them eventhough I do not use their services. As a consumer what can I do?
