NCB Management Services

17 years 2 months ago
I set up 2 settlement payments with NCB Management Services for my HSBC credit card. I was unable to get the funds into my checking account for them to debit. I explained that to them and told them what happened. I told them I still wanted to take care of the debt, but was unable to today. They said they would no longer work with me and that since my check crossed state lines it was a criminal procedure now and hung up. Now, I know that there was no physical check sent. They didn't try to send the debit through because "my account advisor" called to check the funds and they were unavailable.

Hosp. now cutting jobs!!

17 years 2 months ago
Well it was on the news. The hosp. in our area are now cutting jobs  I thought there was a shortage of hosp. staff. But yet they say that by cutting hundreds of staff, it will not affect the service they give. Do you believe that? I think there will be longer wait times in the ER. Because alot of people who did lose their jobs and health ins. are using the ER more because regular Dr.'s won't see them because they don't have the money to pay up front.

Arrowhead Investments called lol

17 years 2 months ago
This is way too funny  For me anyway!! Arrowhead called me yesterday and said I had a PIF loan with them and was wondering if I wanted to take out another loan. I laughed and said no thanks, I found out that you are not licensed to lend in my state. The poor girl couldn't get off the phone fast enough. I don't think they will be calling me back anytime soon :D They must be hard up for business!!

Got car repoed, VERY threatening phone call from Bank!

17 years 2 months ago
I'm trying to make a long story short, so bear with me..... I took out a car loan with Autobank with my wife as a cosigner in November of 2007. I paid great, current, all through May 2008. In May, we were buying/renting to own a place and I decided I didn't need the $418/mth note on the car. What I went ahead and did was ask the dealership I was working at (where I bought the car) if I could just transfer ownership of the car to someone else, which they said ok to. Well, I found someone by the name of Reon who was willing to take over payments.

Please help...is Allied Interstate/Am Ex lying about charge off?

17 years 2 months ago
Hello. I have an account with American Express that is 120 days past due. American Express sent the account to Allied Interstate collection agency. Allied is telling me that the account has already been charged off. When I asked them who owns the account, they said AmEx does, and that they are working for AmEx. I then said, "Okay then the account has NOT been charged off yet if AmEx still owns it, right?" They said NO, it has definitely been closed and charged off. I thought that all credit card accounts have to be 180 days past due before they can be "charged off".

Debt Relief Advice

17 years 2 months ago
Being up against the wall with debt and failing health, I searched the web for options to resolve my $100K unsecured debt issues. I discussed my situation with several debt reduction companies and found that the enticing sales pitch did not match the contractual fine print. That was a red flag to me. There were several common issues: First, all DRCs wanted an accelerated payment plan (typically 18 - 24 months of a 39 -48 month contract). The second issue was that all the contracts had disclaimers on getting all the creditors to agree to their terms.

80% Discount offer letter from Asset Acceptance LLC

17 years 2 months ago
I just received a letter from Asset Acceptance LLC, stating that they are giving me 80% discount on my debt. They gave me a web site paymybillDOTcom with user name and password to log on and pay my bill, as well as a phone number 8664157346 ext 0, if i want to pay over the phone. Offer is very good, I want to pay it, but how do I know if this is for real? Any help will be appreciated.
