Hi, everyone. It's CherryMuffintop. I'm relatively new to the board, but have received some great help here so far. I stupidly took out loans with 500fastcash.com, mycashnow.com, OSL/SSM Marketing, Emerald Marketing, and TJF/Bahamas Marketing Group. I live in Washington state, and have learned these companies aren't licensed to deal with people in my state. I have paid over the principle on all 5 loans now. I found the legal letter to copy and paste in an email or fax to the lenders.

If I send a Certified letter to a customer and the letter is returned undelivable, what should i do with the return mail? What happens if the return mail is open by someone in the mailroom?

i spoke too soon, they called my work today. i have a new cell phone number and my old one was shut off. He said he was from the United States Law Enforecment and left my social security number on my co-workers' answering machine! He said I will be getting a shocking surprise! lol sorry that made me laugh. but seriously how can i report these jerks?

I just got a letter on the mail states that I have a lawsuit against me , I am really worry because I consolidate all my debts and this account is the only one not included in the consolidation, they said they can take even 25% of my salary , I cannt afford to pay my bills now. Any reccomendations???

i had someone from this company take money out of my accoutant. are they affiliated with eme marketing

I had a CC acct from GE Money Bank for about $1500. Got a settlement offer from them for 30%, over 4 pmts, which I gladly accepted. After the 3rd pmt has been recently made (and I get notices from them monthly to confirm), I got a CA letter about that account. Called the CA, thinking I was telling them something they didn't know. They proceed to inform me "it's been charged off - there's no settlement", and they're expecting to collect the whole amt. So, what now?

Anyone have an opinion of Greepath. I have an appointment next Monday.

I was first contacted by UCB January 10th by phone and then by mail about a week later. I sent UCB a DV letter within a week by certified mail with return receipt request and they received it on the 30th. It has now been over a month and I'm wondering what I should do if they don't validate in the near future. I have not received any more of their harrassing phone calls since I mailed the letter. Do I need to do anything? I know the debt is not going to go away on its own.

It was written on a crawl line this AM on Good Morning America that predatory card issuer HSBC is shutting down it US operation. I say good riddance. Please Barack don't give them any money

Confused about the debt settlement, how can a person be sued if they pay the settlement company and they do not pay debtors? How can I ensure the settlement company is paying creditors??
