As some of you know, I am big into gardening, and due to the frugal "me", most of what I plant happen to be vegetables. So I thought I'd post a bit about starting and maintaining a vegetable (and fruit) garden. First I had been saving small containers over the past 9 months to start my seedlings in. But then after doing a lot of reading in books, magazines and on the internet, I decided that investing a small amout of money into buying those mini greehouses was a better idea as they hold the moisture in better.

Does anyone have advice on removing collections from your report? I have been paying them down and have learned the debt amount of the collection is really pretty irrelevent. I have two collections on there...is it true that the longer ago they are on there the less negative impact they have? I'd really like to clean up my report and when my one negative Credit card item drops off sometime in the next few months, these will be my big negatives (aside from the lack of credit i have, though my student loans greatly help that).

Does 4 phone calls in a minute (2 at work, 2 on cell phone) qualify as harrasment?

Greetings all! Several months ago, I posted out of sheer desperation of my situation. I had 6 loans out here in Arizona from Store Front lenders and let's just say over a dozen from on line lenders. ALL of the store front loans are paid off and man, did that feel good! I have paid off if full two of the Internet lenders and by March 6th, will have also paid off two more. My question is that most of the remainder Internet loans have gone to collection. How have people handled paying back the principle with these loans?

I have been reading this forum for about 2 weeks now & have gotten some great pointers by doing so in dealing with pdls. I have closed my account & made sure ACH could not force the account back open. I have 4 pdls, all internet based: impactsolutionsonline.com paydayone.com nationwidecash.com discountadvances.com I do know that at least 2 of these are definitely legal per TN law-Impact & PayDay One. I have already made a payment arrangement with Impact & had just defaulted on PayDay One on Friday & am waiting for them to contact me about the default.

They should be reported for being rude and for demeaning people. Reported to BBB as well as the corporate office for Debt Consolidation Care and ALL sister communities as well. They provide info to other that is invalid and erroneous and they are PAID by this website to answer questions and if anyone else tries to assist.......they are blasted out of the water for taking "their" money. And let's see how fast the current "moderator" locks this posts and/or deletes it because they don't want it shown to everyone who posts here.

Ok, so I get denied for a loan....wandering why (I am a design engineer and make great money and pay all of my bills on time all of the time) I get a credit report....Allied Interstate has me listed as a collections account for DIRECTV. It is listed for Arizona....first, I have never had or done business with DIRECTV.

Hello, I am currently dealing with ACE in Texas on a defaulted loan. I have made several attempts to make payment arrangements with them. However, they will never accept them. I am told they will only accept the full amount. However, just last week a Ms. Berkins called me saying that I could have been making payments this whole time. She said that for the first 90 days they have to accept any payment I make. Now, she can’t do anything to help me(its been since October when loan defaulted).

here is the letter I have received Instant Cash, I did send them a $100.00 payment but stupid me I forgot to put the account number on it, now they are lowering the amount from $415.00 to $380.00 on a $300.00 loan.
