Hello, I just received an email from NRS regarding an outstanding payday loan with Ashland Funding...If Ashland Funding is illegal & off shore is NRS Legal?

Candy, The order is from Personal Finance Company and the acct number is **** In Illinois you have the right to revoke the garnishment. You need to do that with each one that comes in. Then the company has the right to go through other channels to garnish your wages. If you wish to revoke this garnishment the we need a written letter revoking the demand. I stopped a garnishment on my paycheck today.....thank god!!!!

I reside in Oregon...I have been informed that Cash Net USA is legal. I still need some more info/help. My defaulted loan has been sold off to a shady company by the name of PN Financial & Associates. They sent me a letter dated 2/12/09 stating that they had a judgement of $1069.33 needing to be paid no later then 2/23/09. My original loan amount plus any legal applicable fees is only $243.68. CAN they really legally make me pay for this enormous amount? WHAT shoud I do? I have never heard from this company until recently.

My husband tried to write a check at Kroger for diapers and groceries this morning and it was declined. He was given a phone number to call, which was Scan. Scan told him that he had been reported for a bad debt/check on our old checking account and also tied to his drivers license number. They gave him the number for Check Again. When he called them the extremely rude person told him that the debt was associated with either the DL # or account number - either would flag it. He informed us that the debt was reported by Devidia II, Ltda . for $100.

I am getting daily phone calls after sending several letters to the paydayloan companies. I am getting a phone call from a CNU Mr. Sherman. Anyone ahve an address for this place? I am tired of the calls.

I enrolled at Florida Metropolitan University in 2003. I obtained a loan from SallieMae. I attended class once, enlisted in the Navy and went off to boot camp. I did not disenroll at Florida Metropolitan University (mistake one). Upon being stationed back in Florida I discovered that I was being held responsible for this loan, the school (Florida Metropolitan University), did not return to SallieMae. The money went to the school not me. I spoke with representatives at SallieMae and Florida Metropolitan University to try and figure this out.

Citi is ragging mad at me! I mean they are going no holds barred on my ss! Multiple calls a day, getting more and more threatening. The latest was just moments ago where they phoned me at work (after a letter asking them to not call me at the job) and were stark raving, frothing at the mouth angry telling me to "go out this weekend, get hammered and enjoy the hell out of it, because come next week, you will be property of the state". And told me that by the sound of my voice, they could tell that the "hardcore lifers are gonna love you in the joint". "get ready to be somebody's **tch!".

There is nothing much on Biggest Cash on the forum. I was advised to treat USFASTCASH and 500FASTCASH as illegal. As soon as I told them I knew they were illegal, they have backed down a little bit. They still won't accept my offer of paying $120 (the rest of the principle) though. Fine. Then, they won't get anything. Debating on if I should send it if it won't accomplish anything, and I COULD use that money to save. Upfront money - not sure what to do about them, but they never called me yet. Anyway, Biggest Cash is AWFUL!

I was just sued by a CA in Pennsylvania...can someone help me with what I can do next. The debt is mine (though the amount seems a little inflated). I've had a few phone contacts with them. And it's within the SOL. My goal is to avoid court and really to avoid a judgement on my CR. What are my options here?
