I received a pdl from loan point usa in August 2008 --it was a 300.00 loan and I was told 150 would come out of my account until paid in full. i received an email from them asking if i wanted to extend the loan and i never replied --anyway, i noticed a debit coming out of my account called centurion funds --i was not sure what it was, but several debits were taken (1800) I called the # on my bank ledger and was told that my loan was a self administered loan and it was on my application.

I am considering trying for a settlement on 2 bofa cards about 12000 each.I am not late on any cards but am under severe financial stress and need to do something,not really wanting to go bk.I also have first and second mortgage with bofa and was wondering if this would in any way affect my chances of receiving one.Also i have my checking with them and i would assume i would need to move it somewhere else,correct?I am also employed full time.I just screwed up and got in over my head,it happens before you realize it sometimes,Thanks.

Has anyone heard of this place? They just called me at work and left this really ominous message. I'm not inclined to call them back.

First off the debt is from a car being repoed 6 years ago. I live in Iowa. The first letter I got from them had almost no info on it. Just account numbers and how much i could afford to pay amonth. I didnt even think it was real. The second letter came one month later wanting me to send my tax return to them. After that i sent them a debt valdiation letter, but they refuse to send me the information saying I was using stall tactics and they legaling dont have to send me anything. The lady started talking over me and saying they were going to do a title 4 on my house.

I spoke with this co. today after receiving a letter in the mail from them. I checked the BBB and the rating is good. I have 40k in cc debt and cannot continue to make the payment. The man I spoke with at freestar told me they do not charge any upfront fees and my monthly payment would be $468/month including their fee and bank maintenance charges. Anyone here have any info on this co?

I wrote GL Recovery Group on 12/15/2008 Just today 2/17/2008 (62 days later) I received a letter from them. It read " Per your request , enclosed is a statement to validate this debt. This dispute has now been resolved. If you have any further questions contact our office. To avoid further collection activities call our office within 15 days to make payment arrangements." They sent me an old statement from 12/2004 it's a photo copy and I don't really understand it. This was a card I was an authorized user on. First question : What are CAs supposed to send if they validate a debt? 2.

I hope you can help me quickly. I received a call today that shows as "unknown" on my cell phone. I was told that this attorney's office represented a company that purchased a $400 CC debt from 2005 that is outstanding. The original CC co charged off $265.00 in '05. The company is threatening to file a judgment against me tomorrow if I do not pay the $400 in full today. I live in NC. Have no received any contact from this company prior to today. They have the last 4 digits of my social and the original debt information is accurate.

What legal action can PDM take against me. I live in NC

I currently have a balance with PayDay One of $150.00 and received an offer today to settle for $112.50. I am wondering if I should call and take the offer and pay over the phone or do I need them to send me an official settlement document or will the e-mail they sent offering the settlement be enough?

has anybody heard of this place? i think they are trying to pull a fast on on me by saying somehting about filing legal papers upon going to their website they just look like a collection angency. i was called by a mr. salerno 866-536-8963 x 103 anybody else talk to these people? thanks
