My question to the community is: Has anyone been able to get a repayment period on a settlement with Bank of America that was longer than 12 months such as a 24 0r 36 month repayment period?

Mypaydayloan.com has sent a letter to Debt Consolidation Care through Bradley J. Haskins, ESQ. The company claims to have come across copy-righted material against Mypaydayloan.com in our forums. By copyrighted material, they mean any sort of communication between mypaydayloan.com and their customers. Mypaydayloan.com has threatened to sue Debtcc, its principals, advertisers and even the posters themselves if the material posted against them isn't removed within 3 days.

Any body from MN have dealings with MB? Have battled them for 3 months, cease & Desist letters, verification or validation of alleged debt, no answer. What a surprise, HAHA. Have now sent a letter off to the Attorney General's Office in the hopes of a lawsuit via the state against them. Good book to read "Debt Cures They Don't Want you to Know." Tells all about these scammers!

I have an account from Chase on my credit report. i just recieved a notice via mail and phone of a collection agency buying my chase account. should i send a debt validation letter to this new place or should i send it to chase? another question. i have two collection agencies on the same credit report for the same debt (paypal). who should i send the debt validation letter to? and one more question! i basically want to be able to set up payment arrangements AND get things taken off my credit report.

I was served court papers from forster an garbus i answered them saying that the amount was to high and that i felt the means at which they served me or the delay in time of which they submitted the documents to the time i recieved them was unjust. They now sent back a settlement but never responded to my counter nor to m DV letter. so now should i fill out the same court paper back at them with another DV or should i answer the setlement and how do i answer the settlement.

I could really use some insight into settling with Chase. If you have settled with them recently, how much did you settle for, and in how many payments? Thanks so much!

How many times do you have to send a company an ACH revoke letter? do you have to send it every time a payment due date is coming up or is just once enough. I had a PDL company email and say "Unfortunately we did not receive your ACH revoke in time and your bank account has been debited. Please send an ACH revoke within 3 days of your payment being due. Well since my bank won't close my account.. they are going to keep trying to debit it.. will I have to send an ACH revoke letter everytime a payment is coming due? Thanks

I called Client Services to discuss a possible settlement on an account that was a Bank of America (FIA Card Services) account with $2,995.23 balance. I was told the account had been recalled at the end of January. He then went on to tell me that since the account was in prelegal status with them it probably was recalled because they are going to sue me. I haven't received any letters or calls from a different CA. Does FIA like to sue a lot?

Hi I am in Indiana and my debt collector is in Ohio. I am considering suing them for many of their violations-- too much to go into here. Anyway, do I sue them here or in Ohio? Does anyone know? I've got all my ducks in a row but now I just need to start the filing process.
