if a credit card is charged off can u still be sued in court and if a person is on disability can the court take your disability check for payment?

To loan in there state or my state? How do I fight them? One time I had a pdl from a local and I made friends with the manager. She gave me some information about getting out of my PDL. I have made a large mistake by taking out one payday loan and then it just snowballed into about 21 payday loans. Some are storefront and other were over the internet. I am trying to find out if the internet ones are licensed in missouri. I wish I had found your site months ago. There is just no way I could pay back 21 at one time. Some of the storefront companies are now garnishing my wages, but at least they are slowly being paid.

Once I pay whatever I owe to them, does that mean I should be automatically removed from their list? or is there a period (like credit marks) that will last for a while on your record?

I have 2 cards to pay MRS. In September I verbally agreed to set up payments until I could pay in full in May. But Hurricane Ike hit (I’m in Texas) & I stopped making payments. So, now… I am trying to figure out what to do until May when school is out & I can work overtime again. Is it too late to send one of those “Debt Validation Letters” since I already made verbal agreements to pay on the remaining 2 cards? Last summer, I settled with MRS on another card by paying ¾ of the balance. I never got a letter stating my account was clear with them though.
