I received a letter from Tate & Kirlin Associates today stating that I owed some company named Punhill I LLC a total of $2963.45 and the original creditor was DHC LLC. I haven't dealt with any of these companies. When I called them they said that it was possibly from a Washington Mutual account that I had. I did not offer that I have in the past had a Washington Mutual account; I only stated that I had never heard of Punhill or DHC. I've had several accounts (many years ago and since paid) with Washington Mutual.

I am paying my loan now but tax treasure department tell me i have to pay off my loan to remove tax offsets. my question is can I consolidation my student loan to remove my tax offsets?

I keep getting called from ACE Cash Express. I am in the state of ohio and today they called one of my references (very embarrassing) and they are now threatening to call my supervisor. They even mentioned her by name. This would be very bad for my job. Are they allowed to call my supervisor? I feel like such a moron.

I live in California and it looks like this is a state that requires both parties' consent to record the conversation. 1. Any thoughts on how to do this? Do I just say at the beginning of the call, "Hello, your call is being recorded"? 2. Not terribly sophisticated electronically. Are people just using a tape recorder and blank tapes? Is there a better way in this day and age? 3. If you go to court does anyone really listen to these? 4. Do CA's or OC's refuse to talk to you if you state they are being recorded?

Hello.. I am caught in a payday loan trap. I am 21 years old and I just bought my first home and drained my savings for down payments and closing costs. Then my car broke down and I had to take out a couple of payday loans to catch up. Before I knew it a couple had turned into 11 because I had to take out one more loan just to pay the fees for the last and so on and so on. I took the first steps to day to get out from under this mess. I closed my bank account and had them put a hard debit block on the account.

While I was in the military, I was overpaid a little bit each month, however, over a period of years the grand total was about $30k. When the problem was noted, I entered into an agreement to repay $500/month. After I got out I continued to pay the amount until I started going through a divorce (took 2 years). I talked with Uncle Sam about the hardship and they reduced the payment for a year (which I made). At the end of 12 months, the payment went back up, but I still could not afford it due to the divorce.

I am having same problem with First Premier Charge Off / Arrow Financial . I originally paid card off it was $230 from when I was 20 . I have reciept and everything . Now Arrow Financial popped up a few years later saying Collection account . I tried to contact First Premier on matter and they said that when Arrow Financial purchases accounts they also take all records . Is that not illegal ? So with no original records besides mine , Arrow can continue to show different dates . Best option is Court I take it ? Also account shows open .

there is a scumeater called employmentproof10.they have a scam website that basically helps people forge things like paystubs and such.i think the authorities would be inerested in this scammers sight.thoughts?
