We have been garnished for 6 months, were told to call the creditors lawyers and set up a payment plan after that time period. Can they dictate the amount of a monthly payment?, (there is still a considerable balance left) , or can we tell them how much we can afford. To be honest we have had to borrow money to keep our heads above water and are barely scraping by. We thought that the end was in sight but they are demanding about 3 times as much as we wanted to pay. We live in Georgia but work in Alabama, the court judgement was in Georgia. I appreciate any advice you can give.

How do I find out if the pay day loan companies I am dealing with are legal or illegal. I learned from this forum that 500 fast cash and Loan Point USA are both illegal. Nobody seems to know about AeroAdvance or PDL Loan Center. (These are alos companies on the internet) Who would I contact to find out if these are legal companies? I live in Mississippi.

Anybody deal with Halo debt solutions

I'm a Minnesota resident, and I took out some payday loans when I was sick from work, but now they just keep charging me. I know at least one of them isn't licensed in any state (or so it sounds from my research here), and was wondering if anyone knows if any of the others aren't licensed in a state? The reason I ask is because I've paid the principle plus some on all of them. The loans are as follows: UnitedCashLoans $200, paid $300 OneClickCash $200, paid $300 CityViewCash, $225, paid $400 And they are all still debiting my account.
