Yesterday, I signed up on this site hoping to get some help with my significant debt. Within minutes of receiving the confirmation email and a "Hi" from Vikas, I got a phone call from a woman claiming to be from TheCreditExchange.com. I talked with her and answered her questions about my situation, and she suggested a debt settlement program with the Johnson Law Group. She has quoted me the amount I need to start the program and the monthly payment. My question now is, is this the "free phone consultation" I should have been expecting?

I have just about $7000 in debt on 2 credit cards. I have never missed or had a late payment. I am trying to start really paying them off but I would like to consolidate them to make this easier and have a lower interest rate, but I can't find anywhere that will deal with less than $10,000. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Hello, I have a decently large amount of debt from GE Money Bank. I believe they have sold the debt to someone else and now P. Scott Lowery is try to collect on it. I am in the process of working up my letter requesting Debt Valedation since they refuse to give me one when asked. My question at this point is this... Can I send them a cease and desist letter and try working with the original creditor? Or is it too late for that because the original creditor may have sold my account? Thanks for any help and suggestion... this has me seriously upset and worried.

I HAVE OVERDRAFT PROTECTION ON MY CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT, THEY ALLOWED THIS ACCOUNT TO BE OVERDRAWN TO THE TUNE OF $1400.00. AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THE $850.00 OR THE FULL $1400.00?

Does anyone have any surefire ways to raise my credit score at least 50 points QUICK.

I am not quite sure how these spoofed numbers work that I read about but last week I got three calls ten minutes apart from the same phone number but different area code. I wasn't home at the time but saw them on the caller ID. How can they be the same numbers but with different area codes? Does anyone know anything about this?? Thanks.the numbers were 588-530-1617, 243-530-1617 and 443-530-1617??

I found a home for sale that I am in absolute love with....my credit is 567 so it is going to be hard for me to get a mortgage, I am working on raising my score, but am scared of this home selling in the meantime....does anyone have any ideas?

well it's been a long time since I've posted here and partly becouse I have not recieved any calls from these people in a long long time! I thought they had finally got the hint and were going to leave me alone, but surprise I got 2 voicemail msg's today from an officer green! at least it wasnt a famous person this time! anyway the number this time was 347-844-6701, well here we go again! has anyone come up with any ideas as of yet to get rid of them for good?
