Hi, I've been trying fo fix my credit over the last 3 months, the creditor ad collection agencies are driving me nuts. All the trouble happend 5 years ago, the statutes of limitations are only 3 years in m state so at least I know that I won't have legal problems but since I started to send letters I have about 80% gone for good but the two remaining, capital one and LVNV are calling my house phone 3 or 4 times a day asking for money or else... I'm sick of it, so yesterday I suspended the phone service and started to look for a credit repair company.

I sent Sessoms & Rogers a request for First Request for Prodution of Documents and to no surprised on almost all requests the Plantiff Objected to them. I have some questions that maybe some could shed some light on.

Does anyone have a mailing for allied interstate? They call me, but I can't find a place to write, to follow-up on a phone call.

Can a credit card refuse to settle a debt because of a prior payment made toward property taxes? I realize you can't do a settlement with student loans, and tax liens but wondering if you made a payment on a credit card that is now deliquent that you are now trying to include in a debt settlement, will that be an issue or is debt basically debt?

Re: Collection Agency Lawsuit for CC debt. Let's say, along with your answer to a complaint in a civil action you raise affirmative defenses that challenge the validity of the complaint and the legal requirements that they must have to be able to prove their case, and you know for certain that they will not be able to provide them in order to win; Do you have to file your answer along with your complaint or can u file your answer on one day and then your affirmative defenses on another? Can you file your affirmative defenses before you file your answer?

Has anyone ever heard of this company? I need an address/phn #/fax#. Can anyone help me with this???

Hi, I live in Michigan and have an attorney that has received a judgment against me on a medical bill from July 2002 the judgment was entered on october of 2008 the last payment made on the account was on september of 2002. Is there anything I can do because he has now filed a garnishment with my work. I have objected to this under the impresion that this fell under the statue of limitaions in Michigan. A timley response would be great I have a court date on Febuary 2nd 2009

has anyone ever gotten a refund from them? I paid about 1500.00 on a 300.00 loan. Filed a complaint with the BBB which they ignored. Also filed a complaint with the AG.
