I have 2 accounts with CITI that are supposed to come off in 5/09 because their SOL has expired. Transunion should remove them but Experian shows a different date of removal for the same accounts, 06/2012. Can they do that??

My husband and I both received collection notices today from NCO Financial Systems. Mine is for 347.00 and his is for 234.00. The former creditor was NES Rhode Island. Neither of us have any idea what this may be for. How can I find out what the original debt was for?

Hi, In VA. I'm in the process of letting my CC debt go so I can settle. Currently 30 days late on all (tot 80k). I'm a homeowner and have a 1st ans 2nd mtg. I have a loan mod on my 2nd and just got my 1st current. My question is, can a lien be placed on my home? All of my CC debt is non-secured. Thanks in advance.

I hope they read this board. Called my bank to revoke authorization, I was then sent to the ACH processing department. Apparently Centurion likes to play ugly and sent over the contract signed by me. I told then that was true the time, but I have since revoked authorization. I have paid them $450 on a $300 loan to date. I have letters to the BBB and the Attorney General for the State of CA. Help, next steps?

Now I am on my wife's accounts. She owes WAMU 19000 8000 being a business card. The other 11000 being hers with me as a Authorized user. The cards were sent to IC for collections. 1. Has anyone had success with them and at what % 2. What legal and credit reporting does Authorized user fall under. 3. I am worn out. I settled 90000 of my own ( Most all this debt is our failed company.) And I am tired and am losing my cool with people. The other 2 are Discover 6000 and Juniper Barclays 4000 Thanks, BLL

I also have a payday loan from SSmLLc. After debiting my account for the service fee for several months, I contacted a payday loan consolidation service. The only one not complying in SSmLLc. They turned my account over to a "collection company" called PDM associates. They called me at work and threatened to have my wages garnished. They said I would be "served" at my place of employment unless I agreed to pay by the 30th of this month. Can they do this?

How do you find out who actually owns the debt? If a CA is calling and they say "I am calling from Bank of America," but they are really from Collectcorp Collections it is still owned by original creditor right? thank you

I am trying to keep up with my payments but have fallen behind and trying to find out some ideas of how i can keep the PDL collectors from constantly calling and calling. any advice in this realm would help.

2008 was a bad year for me, and I know for alot. I was behind on alot of things. 1 thing was a Credit Card that I wasn't even able to pay a min payment to. My wife finaly graduated school and is now working. We got all caught up, except for this credit card. Before we hit problems, Balance was $4,800.00, now that balance is $6,000.00. Since I haven't been able to pay on the card, it was turned over to a collection. I answered the phone the other day for the collection agent and they offered me a settlement of $3,000. Then that would se my balance to $0.

Well it all started when I was going through a divorce. My wife had left me with a number of bills and we no longer had two incomes to pay them all. She basically had said she wasn't responsible and since they were in my name guess who ended up behind the eight ball. So then i went to a bank to try and get a consolidation loan but with the economy there was no way. So I went to a Payday loan lender and at first it worked out well but then I got another and another and another. I solved one problem but created another.
