hello, my name is Karen a single mom with three kids who was dumb enough to take out a pay day loan for 300 ( twice), i paid one back and not the other, now it's doubled and a half, i had a call from mr.hazel, if i don't pay in full (15 minutes ago) i will be charged for fraud and 4000 fees.

I just pulled my credit report and found that I have a KD mark on it from LVNV Funding. I have no idea who they are, or what it is for. It is only for one month 06/04 with no previous payment history. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should do?

They did not honor my ach revocation!!! Well now instread of me owing them 20 they owe me 40. Time to put my account on deposit only I guess until it is in the black and I can close it. Has anyone had their bank close one account and open the other and just transfer the negative balance?

MY wife lost her job due to illness and is now on disability. We have to pay her Cobra for 2 years because she only 62, which right now is 560.00 per month. We owe about 40,000.00 in credit cards and a mortgage of $1600.00 per month and we need help.

OK...I secured my new checking account, cleaned up the old account, changed my direct deposit and SENT THE NOTICES TO STOP! I'm just waiting for the calls. Turns out after all of my calculations I am owed almost $2000 back for overpayments...which "if" I get back will help me with the small amount I owe on the principals .. (Appx., $670).... So I am ready to work with all of the companies if they are. I too am freightened about them calling my job.

Has anyone had luck settling with a law firm or CA prior to going to court? If so who was it with and what percentage were you able to settle for?

I gots a question for ya'll...if you file a complaint with the FTC...what happens? does the FTC call whomever you complained about and tells them? or, do they send something in writing to them? Do they keep a list of complaints on particular companies? Will you ever be contacted by the FTC about it?? I am just wondering what happens....

How can I get help for my grandparents who have been overextended by Payday loans ends do meet anymore and they are on a fixed income, who can help them get out of this whole? grandfather is a gambler. (In-Store non online)

Hello everyone, First off - I need to say that I am SO happy that I found this site. It helped me realize I am not alone and can fight this. Recently, I was forced to take 4 payday loans in an emergency. I think these places that rely on the desperate are SICK! Because they took out more than their "Contracts" made it seem they would, and hit me with fees, I fell behind on REAL bills, and needed to close my account. I have the right to be in control, and these places have taken enough money.

i have payday loans, a cash net 1500, usfast cash 500, 500fast cash 500, ameriloan 300, little loan shoppe 750. I just defaulted yesterday. I called longhorn but it is going to take me time to get the first payment to them. Are these places going to harasss MY PERSONAL CONTACTS IF I DO NOT TALK TO THEM? That scares me . I started this mess a long time ago. I would pay them off and then hit the reactivate button, even after I lost my job they never verified I still was working Really scared.
