I am crying as I write this. A loved one of mine has written a bad check in the amount of $251. It was at a grocery store. In the state we live in anything over $200 is a 4th degree felony. I mentioned him in the past, he has been in jail before and is really starting to get his life together. He has bounced checks at this store before but I do not know if it was for this much. He did make good on those, though. Call me naive but I really believe it was a mistake. The store in the past redebit it twice out of the account but not this time.

Just verifying if Paycheck Today is legal in Nebraska? I took out an internet loan, they now have a company called Arm (not sure if that is what he said) calling me at work. Any thoughts?

Question:can a person get a refund anticipation loan after getting a chapter 7 order discharging the debts?

I have heart felt sympaty and empathy for each you. I to have had my share of PDLs and they are a @#$%^. As of today, I have 6. Thankfully I will be able to pay off 4 on my next check due to a bonus I will be receiving. I have been there where I've had to close bank accounts due to PDLs and take settlement offers. I will have two loans left on January 27, 09. I am trying to payoff (Capital Funding). Has anyone ever used them if so, what is there number. They withdraw the $90 fee from my checking account and it shows Capitol Funding (fees) $90 but no number.

i had a bk that discharged back in 04 (chaper 7) is it possible to file again, or at least a chaper 13??? thanks in advance

Has anyone had any problems in Rhode Island with Loan Point USA??? I took out a $500 loan and to date have paid them $600. As far as I can tell they are not legal in Rhode Island so as far as I am concerned I have paid them what I owe and they actually owe me $100. I have sent them a letter stopping my ACH with them via email. They replied and told me to call Customer Service - when I did they were rude and said that I only paid interest on the loan PLEASE HELP ME - my next payment is due to come out tomorrow for $150 and i need to pay my rent which is late. Thank you

has anyone ever heard of a company out of wintersprings fla called progressive debt solutions. Apparently they specialize in settlement/consolidation of pdls. they are a legit business from what i can tell. On superpage listings, on mapquest. No BBB complaints. This could be a good resource for people like me if they turn out to do what they say they can.

I have internet pdl in va. all current. probably paid principal on all. Any info on pdl consol/settlement companies? Or should I try myself?
