After sending emails to the above companies about wanting to make final payments to them with money orders, I sent an email to the Better Business Bureau and cc'd all of them in separate emails. I had told them earlier that I needed physical addresses and never heard anything. I guess my next step is to file complaints. One company wrote back and said that I needed a letter from my bank stating that my account was closed. Alana

I have a question for you. Can you please tell me if you receive a collection letter from a payday loan company in the mail are they allowed to put the company name on it or not. I was told it is against SC law to have the name on the envelope. Please help me with this.

Encore Receivable Management, Inc has been taking monthly payments from my checking account for few months now. This amount is higher than what the monthly bill from Sears shows is due. I can no longer afford the higher amount so I sent Sears a check for the the billed amount. I also closed the bank account from which Encore was taking the money out. What am I risking here? These peopl representing TJF are calling me at work telling me they are officers and that they will take this to court and call me supervisor and so on. I tell them to stop harrassing me and yet they continue. The funny thing is that they have all my information and say that I had funds deposited into an account in January of 2008. Well the joke is on them because I didn't even open the account they speak of until May of 2008 and have never applied for a payday loan for deposit into that account. Any advice on what to do to catch these people and put them out of business?

I have an account with Chase and Mann Bracken is attempting to collect that deht. They have requested a hearing before the National Arbitration Forum. I have contact information for the National Arbitration Forum and will fax them pertinent documents I am also to fax the same documents to Mann Bracken (per the National Arbitration Forums' rules). When I contacted Mann Bracken, I was able to find a woman in charge of COLLECTING the debt, but she refused to give me a fax number (of course, she doesn't want this to go to arbitration; she wants to COLLECT the debt-but I have no money.

I was an employee of Titan Management Services and we have not been paid for 2 weeks of work. No one is answering the question on when we will be paid. Fred A Howard is now being sued by his ex employess and he does not show that he even cares. If you are ever offer employment with this company. Most employees are single parents that were not even able to provide anything for their families. All Fred is concerned with is covering his own ass.

I am thinking of consolidating my debt since I have about 15K in credit card debt. I never miss a payment and they are always on time. Never been in collections, but I feel like my debt is a cloud over my head and I would love to be in the + rather than the -. I am afraid that if I do go to a debt negotiation/consolidation company that it will reflect poorly on my credit report and we are trying to buy a house before the end of this year...I'm at a loss.

I called Rossman & Co. today they said I owe 1,200 dollars to my doctors office, I called my doctor and asked them about the date of service, they had NO knowledge of this account or any balance!

I have searched this site but can not seem to find an example of a letter to request a pif and/or refund from a pdl. Can someone post me example or direct me to where I can find one?
