Midland Financial reported to Experian that I owed them $420 (which I don't) I disputed it with Experian about a month ago and haven't heard anything yet. I just went to check it again and it is now saying This account is scheduled to continue on record until April 2015.This item was verified and updated on Dec 2008." Does this mean that Experian verified the debt? I have requested debt verification 5 times in writing from Midland and once about 3 weeks ago over the phone because they contacted me (despite my no cease and desist letter, which I forwarded them AGAIN then next morning.

I just recieved a letter from a lawyer out of Sioux Falls SD, I owe citibank 3000, I was willing to work with them, but have no checking account they can automatically withdrawl money from my account. What happens since this has went to a law firm? I don't have 3000 to pay them immediately. I have been caught up in a payday loan payback and it has screwed my finances. Thanks for any help.

What does this do to my credit.

We are about $72,000.00 in credit card debt. We pay all our bills on time but it takes every last penny and we sometimes have to use more credit to buy groceries. We still have several cards on zero percent or low interest but I am so tired of stressing and worrying about money. I'm wondering if would be better to just ruin our credit - the debt to income ratio is already lowering our score. I'm not sure, though, if I should just stop paying my cards and have some cash to buy necessities, then try to settle.

Hi, I need to pay off my outstanding balance on my SRJ account, but I was wondering if I could do this online or by post, but I am struggling to contact them at the moment on the Internet. I do not have a working phone at the moment to do it on the phone and no letters from the SRJ to reply to in the house. Their website states that clents can pay online, but I cannot work out how to do that

I need to file complaints with the BBB and AG against these companies. I need the mailing addresses. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

So, it's been awhile since I've been around. Last year you guys helped me out tremendously with the jam I was with the PDL's. Now, I have 3 or 4 different reports on my credit report. I've been reading and reading and really can't find a direct answer. How do I dispute it with the credit reporting agencies? Also, paydayone still shows in the state of Florida as open. How do I get them to close it out? Also, the phone calls from these leeches still have not stopped.

wow. I never received phone calls, letters, any kind of correspondance from a junk debt collector even though I was in contact with him to pay off a debt. He apparently tried to take me to court the first time as I was haggling the charges. I missed a payment and I guess he did it again even though I made up for it... AND he went and got a judgment for about 1000 more than we agreed PLUS interest. holy crap. He never even SAID anything. I'm infuriated. Is there anything I can do? Isn't he legally required to serve me papers or give me a heads up that he's suing me?

What can I do if my pdl lenders require the monthly payment to be too much since I have so many pdls that this will still leave me short to pay my other bills.
