As most of you know, a couple of months ago I relocated from Ohio to Idaho. Unfortunately, I received news that my brother passed away. It was very sudden and we are unsure of the reasons why. The family suspects his sudden death may have been related to a "study" he was participating in for a new un-marketed pain medicine patch. We won't have the autopsy results for 6-8 weeks. I am flying back to Ohio tomorrow and will be gone for a week. Take good care everyone, I am sure I will get through this difficult time somehow. :(

Okay I did the first step and sent out my DV Letter and it has been over 30 days and I have not rcvd a response what so ever. So now my question is what is my next step??? If they did not respond to my DV letter than how do I have the Credit Reporting Agencies take it off??? Please guide me in my next direction and do I need to send another letter and to who do I send it to and where can I get a copy of the letter I need to send????

on august 19,2008. both of my kids are in foster care. DO police offiers have to write a police report any time they come on a call? the police did not write a police report. the women told me they only came on a call. Hello, Since my husband has lost his job, we have fallen behind on all our bills we have about 5 CC that total about 25000.00, a Timeshare. a car that we are upside down on. that I worrying any day now they will come and get. the only thing that I don't want to lose is our house. we have tried doing a loan modification but they say since my husband lost his job we don't qualify for. we have gotten to the point where we don't answer the phone because we don't want to be pressured into something that we can't afford. not sure if we should try Debt consolidation or debt settlement.

Because of so many bad decisions and being laid off, I am now in over my head attempting to pay 11 storefront payday loans for about $1000 every payday in interest alone! I have nickeled and dimed a few down to $300, but it is killing me to try to pay these, even working two jobs now! I am depressed and at the end of my rope. All of my other bills are getting behind. Where can I find a company to help me pay these off? Help!

I live in TX and I "think" this is the payday loan company that CMG Recovery Servies is attempting to collect on (which I do not owe on). Anyone know if they are legit and what status "internet payday loans" have in TX? There is no signed paperwork from me, per CMG........just faxed paperwork stating my bank account info (which was long ago closed). Thanks in advance.

They are finally having court cases filed against them in Federal Court for their illegal debt collection practices. if you go to justia.com and type in CMG Recovery Services you can see a trend emerging in Federal Court against this company. Continue to pay your debts and work out in writing payment plans and save all written responses (do not accept phone calls, written letters only) and look up the fdcpa and assert your rights and ensure ALL debt colletors follow them.
