Tom321 FDRS owned by Mark A Cella has recently posted that they are no longer accepting clients. Mark Cella used to run Carefree Debt Inc until viral negative postings and massive complaints by angry customers forced him to change names to FDRS.

My debt is right around $1,000, my credit score is about 524... I have enough to pay it all off in full but should I request a "pay for delete"? If so, how? Approximately how long would it take to repair my credit score? One of the accounts on my credit report has no phone number. Help me please! I'm 22 and ready to fix my credit now!

Dear Amy, Thank you for your email/ticket. This is your debt verification letter. You have a delinquent balance of $404.80 that is about to be turned over to our collection agency where they assess their own 40% fee and may report to all 3 major credit bureaus. hello all, I am in the process of fixing my credit. alkl i have is two bad marks, total 290$ and 593 score bc of that. no other credit history. I have sent debt validation letters to the collecting agencies and need to know: how long it takes to hear from them? also, First Premier has extended a 9.9APR credit card offer to me with 20 credit out of which 150 is in fees:( the letter states i will be eligible to credit increase in 6 months (for a 25$ fee).

Can a junk debt buyer company issue an IRS form 1099C for an old debt several years past the sol and lastpayment/deliquency? If the debt's last payment to the original creditor, was five years ago, can a 1099C be issued? This is what I have been reading:

why was $48 debited from my account? I have never had nany dealings with this company and i want my money back! I will be contacting the better business bureau.

Wow -I have dug myself into a good hole- Total CC debt 80k. Plus I have an investment house in foreclosure, upside down by about 140k. Anyway, I have settled 13k of my cc debt and got another 7 on a hardship program. One of my cards, for 17k roughly sent me a letter that they would be seeking a judgment. Now, yesterday I received a letter in the mail from the lender. It was a court document called "Request for Entry of Default." I found through online reading that this is request when the defendant (me) does not respond to a summons. The bad thing is that I never received a summons.
