I am currently trying to settle my $4,000 account on my own with Discover. They have called my parents house about my deliquency which is a phone number that i never gave them. I called them to cease and desist calling that nember and they said they would delete it frrom their database. Just today they called my parents house again and again i called them to cease and desist and they said they would delete it again. Could i use this refusal to cease and desist to my advantage? Sanctions?

After 3 months in handling my own debt settlement, I recieved my first letter offering settlement. Debt reduced to 45% and only available until next payment due date.
Also if I accept this offer, they will report "Account paid in full for less than the full balance" to the credit reporting agencies.
Debt is $17,000. I was wondering if I can negotiate a payment plan to spead out to 6 months. I have the money but I have 3 other CC I'd also like to settle.
I took out a $300 loan from ameriloan in October. I havent paid them anything yet and recently was told they are not licensed in the state I live. I received a call from UNL or AML, but they won't give me an address. I have a validation letter allready to send them, but I need an address. Does anyone know how I can obtain the address to send my letter.
I have a closed first premier bank account on my credit report. It was closed in 2005 and is still listed as delinquent. It is my understanding that after 2 years it goes to a positive status. I disputed it with the credit report and it comes back as accurate.
Should I call first premier bank and tell them to update it? Does this lower my credit score and will bringing a closed account to a account in good standing raise my score?

I don't mind making arrangements with these companies, but they are very uncooperative.
