has anyone delt or currently dealing with unifund. i was just woundering because around 9/2007 i received a letter from any attorny claiming to be hired by unifund to collect on an old credit card from 8 years ago. i never received a call or letter from unifund itself. so i sent the attorny a validation of debt letter and so on and i did get a response from the attorny it was a letter from unifund saying this debt is real. and was signed. that was litterally it. after that letter i got from them i havent heard a peep out of either of them.

does anyone have payday loan addresses for the following? ML Advance USA Today CMG Payday Island thanks for any help.

I keep getting harrassing phone calls from a collection company called AS & Associates for a loan I took out with national money store I asked her to send me documentation regarding the debt with national money store she would not I want to file a complaint and need some info on this company if anyone has it. Or any advise on what to do to get rid of this threatening idiot mrs lee that keeps calling me threatening to put me in jail!! Thanks

I applied for credit from Discover and got a letter stating denial due ti insufficient credit. I have two small (280$ together) negative issues on my credit and nothing else. how bad is this news? is insufficient credit better reason then bad credit? what do to next? where to get credit? thank you, I appreciate anyone's help.

Hello, I am in need of the addresses of the following payday loan companies: paydaymax usfast cash national money store I need to file complaints to my AG and BBB and of course I have sent numerous e-mails and they have refused to give me the info I am disputing these loans and need this info. I would appreciate it if anyone would like to give me some advise on what else to do to get these companies to get off my back and let me pay my balance and be done with them once and for all!!! does debt consolidating destroy credit rating?

My sister owes $15,000 for a BofA card, that she just recently in the last 4 months can't pay. So, the SOL is still about 4 years to go. My sister also owes about another $30,000 on other credit cards. My sister is now on state disability and going to apply for SS. She owns no home or car. She lives with her domestic partner and drives his car. (but rarely drives) She gets 20 phone calls a day, she told me. If a creditor sues her what can they get from her? She is in California.

Does a car repo affect your credit report ?

Owe Bank of America 32K. 3 months past due. Lost my job, and sent them a letter In November offering a settlement. No answer. Called them today and offered to settle. They offered to settle for 20K, which I can't afford. I told them that I'll file for bancruptsy, if they won't go lower - they didn't care. Could you give me a piece of advise what to do next - I'm seeing here a lot of folks getting settled for under 20% - how did you guys do it? Is there a special department in BOA dealing w/ settlements? I've been told that I'm already transfered to that department.

So I've read in the forum about an A S and Associates, is this the same CA? They've been calling me claiming I owe a dr office $550 and I have documentation that I only owe $330. I've told them that I wont pay until they 1, send me some type of verification of this debt and 2, once they acknolewdge that i only owe $330 and not $550. They said they would not mail me any type of verification because it is a waist of their time and that i first need to fax them a promisory note that i will pay the $330. I am scared that this might be a some type of scam.
