I had to close my checking account due to the fact instantcashusa posted payment the day before payday causing like 15 overdraft fees, what do I do now???

Have you and how hard or easy was it if you are in debt more than you are worth?

Is anyone on this forum military (active or reserves) and are currently or have done debt settlement? I was reading on other sites that settlement could cause a soldier to lose his/her security clearance. Anyone have experience in this area?

When a company charges off an account on your credit bureau, does that mean that they are tired of trying to collect the money? Also when a collections agency buys it, why are they allowed to do this as the company originating the debt has already written it off as a bad debt.

I need help with my payday loans. I currently owe five payday loans and live in Florida. Below are the companies and the amounts and dates borrowed: Cashnetusa-borrowed 500 Nov. 1/owe 548 Ameriloan-borrowed 300 9/19 have paid 90 a month for two month, now owe 390. PaydayMax-borrowed 300 pd over 321 and still owe 688.09 One Click Cash-borrowed 300 in August, pay 90 a month, still owe 390 My Cash Now- borrowed 300 in July paid every month, still owe 299.48 Any help in settling these accounts will be appreciated!

I have read through the posts here and the articles but still have questions about doing settlement. Here's my situation: Have a business that just launched as things were going south economy wise. Have 18 CC - about $80,000 (gulp) and was managing them, not using all credit available, and paying on time but income took a nose dive. Half the cards are in business name but all personally guaranteed by me so my credit takes the ding. Business is still limping along and actually gaining some momentum so don't want to jepordize this by not paying CC that are in biz name.

How do you consolidate when your accounts have been passed on to attorneys and, collection agencies?

Hello, I live in Ohio and most of my problems on my credit bureau are from medical bills. I have 18 negative items on it and they are all for medical bills. Recently, I have received notice that a judgement was made against me for one of them. I didnt go to court because I know I owe them but I dont even have 20 extra dollars a month to send them. I live paycheck to paycheck and many times have to forgo paying electric to pay gas then not pay gas to pay water and food. I juggle what I can.

What is the difference between Debt Consolidation, debt settlement and Conusmer credit counseling. I know that all have an impact on the credit but what is the fundamental difference between them all?
