I have been going through alot of tough money troubles due to my husband's disabilitys. He is a Iraqi Freedom vet. We have payday loans, but are slowly paying them off. I need help in knowing if Geneva Roth Capital Funding (GRC) is legal and what I can do to get out of this hell we have created for ouselves. Company Date opened amount Paid so far Geneva Funding 4/24/08 $300 $1170 I can't afford $90.00 every 2 weeks much longer. Especially with the way the economy is going. Any help is greatly appreciated

I am totally stressed to no ebd with my situation. I have 9 pdl to which i haveacquired to suppliment my income but has quickly turned into income suicide. My next scheduled debits are this coming friday, nov 28. Is it too late for me to stop everything so that I may regroup? My general bills are suffering tremendously because of this and of course the holidays are here. I'm not so merry as most you may understand. Please help, I reside in the state of MD.

Does anyone that had a PayDay One loan know if they hit the ACH charge the exact day the loan is due? I blocked their ACH transaction at my credit union and no charges went through on Friday like it was supposed to but the email I received from them Friday made it appear as though the charge did not go through yet and they could not work with me unless that happened. I know most ACH go though ASAP in the morning that they are due. I did notice on the loan agreement that it stated that it can sometimes take 5 days to post to the bank but I have never had that happen.

first off this board is great, that being said does anyone wonder how they got to this place. Sometimes i feel like i am in a bubble that is going to burst at anytime, not that long ago maybe a year we were living in our home of 22 yrs , had extra money to do things, had great credit. Wow! what a difference a year makes we foreclosed on our home in June of this year, credit is ruined, have collectors hounding us,in debt up to our a** well you get the picture. It is just so surreal. Thanks for letting me vent it helps.

My son was born prematurely with a birth injury in January and passed away in May at home... I lived off of savings during this time but ran out of money soon after. I didn't go back to work until June 28. I took out a PDL, and before I knew it all of my money was going into this $700 loan. So of course I took out another for 300, another for 600, and finally another for 1125. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!? I make ok money in property management, but taking out 2 loans to pay off bills and creditors to make up for the time I was off of work has gotten me into such a bind that I cannot see straight.

I am interested in joining a volunteer sea conservation organization. I would need to cover my own expense of getting to the ship and back home once I'm done as well as a little to set aside for just in case. I don't need a lot, just a couple of grand to cover the expenses. Is there any grants out there for something like that?

this is no joke. i sent them my cease and desist letter that i got off this site and this is the response i got. 100% fraud sir. We will certainly deal with the State of Arizona, like we have in the past, regarding situations like this. You can choose to refund us our $400 by Tuesday 11/25 or we will contact Arizona Assistant AG, as we have in the past, and they will see to it you pay any and all legal fees associated with this. I recently received a letter from a collection agency telling me that I was a co-signer on a account from November 2001. This has never been on my credit report and this is the first I am hearing about this in 7 years? I called to see what it was. Now they are telling me a friend I co-signed for 7 years ago is refusing to pay them because she feels that she has paid the loan off and I am liable for the debt. They wanted me to pay the $3000.00 by the end of the month and they will not come after me for the full balance of $4790.47.
