Is Nelson-Watson a legitimate collectors ageny? They tried to contact me about an old account from CAPITAL ONE, and I was hesitant because when I called CAP ONE they state that they did turn in my acct to a collection agency name FAST TRAK not Nelson-Watson...I checked their website and called them, the guy I spoke to was very persistent and arrogan so I hanged up. So, again does anyone know about Nelson-Watson how they operate? Are they really to collect debt or are they just bunch of scam???Thanks

Does anyone know what Car Repo workers can't do? They showed up in the middle of the night tonight ringing my doorbell, pounding on the door, shining a bright light in my windows, also shining a red laser light in my windows, they were saying they needed to talk to me. They wouldn't go away. My vehicle is parked in my garage. They kept up the above tactics until I opened the door. They wanted to take the car. They said that they had seen it in my garage earlier in the day. He told me he could go in and take it.

I took out 2 loans with us fast cash and united. loans. now they high jacked me 150 dollars on both loans and now want over 800 dollars in full to pay them back from a loan that was only 500 dollars to start out with

I have a defaulted student loan and I know there are lots of nasty things that can happen to me if I don't get it settled, but recently my long time bf proposed and the first thing I thought of after all the excitement was, what will happen with my student loan? can they go after him? can they take his car? can they withhold his income tax return?

What are the lowest acceptable settlement percentages that the various issuers will take in credit card debt settlement. I am dealing with Chase; WAMU; Bank of America; Discover; WFFNB; Citi; and ATT Universal. I am trying to settle these on my own. Thanks for any advice and input you may be able to share with me
