I have 5 payday loans and have used these companies for over a year now. I recently sent them all demand letter for the excess interest paid against my state laws (Massachusetts) does anyone think these companies will respond? I did stop all payments going forward with them to force the issue. the companies are paydayyes, paychecktoday, cashtransfercenters, cashdirectexpress and oneclickcash. all owe refunds per law, some I paid over $3500 in interest.

Okay so I'm 20 and have been in New Zealand for almost 3yrs now.. I hold a Brit passport.. I had the roughest 3 yrs of my life here and am now owing almost NZD$19,000.00. It started of at me borrowing 3k from the bank to get a car. I only had that car for 2wks and I crashed it, UNinsured into a car that crashed into a van. I've also some fines from the police for driving recklessly. Now it's all summed up to nearly 19k! So basically my question here is, I've got dreams and I really want to persue them but these debts are holding me back!

I live in California. I took a loan with USFASTCASH.com. I have already paid them 620.00 for a 300.00 loan and they want more. What should I do? I also think Calif. banned them from doing business in California.

Is LRA for real? If I can't afford the amount owed will they accept less?

Okay, I have found adresses for some of the pdl companies that I have loans with. Some have multiple addresses, so do I send ACH revoking letters to all addresses, do I fax them and email them also? Do I send the letters after I close my bank account? Just want to make sure I am doing things correctly. these are the PDL people I have loans with CashnetUSA Northway Financial (cashtransfercenters.com) United Cash Loans OneClickCash Stcadvance.com only have phone # for them, is there any other way to contact them?

I know you have to show your attorney 6 months of pay stubs, is it the same for the trustee? I'm reading different things, I read 6 months, then 60 days, then 1 year, does anyone know?

Hello All! I have a question about a summons I was served. After I had reached a payment agreement with aa local law office and made my first two payments I have been sued!!! The debt is about $3100.00, all pentalty and late fees all the princable has been paid off. Acording to the afore mentioned agreement this debt would be paid off in 10 month, why our they sueing me??? I have about 14 days to respond in writing or a default judgment will be entered against me. I don't disput that this is my debt, what should I do? I can't afford to pay a Lawyer plus court cost and thier lawyer fees.

I have gotten several letters from debt collectors re: many credit card debts. I am working to get some of the m paid off. I have not heard from Bank of America yet and am wondering--is it best for me to talk to them personnally to try to get some sort of payment plan? And what do I say. I can't afford very much each month, but would like to start doing something before it goes to collections.

Have you ever settled with HSBC - they wont budge on their credit card and checking plus account. Int rates are so :roll: :o high. shaheda

Does anyone know the legalities of closing your account in Iowa? We don't want to go to jail we just want to pay on these the next two months and finish them off when we get our tax return in feb. Also does anyone know how many times they can submit the check for payment if I don't close it? Thanks
