Hi Everyone, I am wanting to send my payday loan companies money towards my loan as I can. The only thing is I don't want them to get my information and start taking more money that I want. So my question is what kind of payment should I send to these companies and what other things should I keep on file to prove the payments? I will be sending C&D letters to all the companies and tell them to send paper statements only. Thank you for your help. Also, I have a cash call loan and I pray that noone gets them.

I have about 15 thousand dollars in debt and have decided I need to do something about it. I live in NY , on Long Island. I did the form at careonecredit and they said 3 of my accounts do not work with their program. Dell , Credit one bank and Bill Me later. My monthly payment would be around 391 dollars without those 3 companies involved. Has anyone here used Careonecredit and how did that work out. Also has anyone been able to get one of those 3 above banks/accounts to do debt consolidation or do they not work with ANY consolidation companies.

Two part question, first can wages be ganished in NC for credit card debt? Second I have a Sallie Mae personal private loan and can no one to considate this loan for me?Can I have my wages garnished for this loan?

Is a confession of judgment now a secured debt even if the lawsuit was over a credit card? And can this type of judgment be eliminated in bankruptcy? My sister will be filing soon, thx

Well guys i think i have officially hit rock bottom... I lost my job with what my employer at the time called..."lack of commitment" ( i was a teller) due to the fact that he knew i was taking a medical transcription course online because thats what i really wanted to do... So even though i showed up for work all the time, did my job to the best of my ability (which until he was aware of my schooling, was far beyond good enough) i was fired for "lack of commitment" So im getting married in May of next year...my fiance has a decent job but lets not fool ourselves here...

I just received a "Pre-Legal Notification" letter from PRA. In it they said that my account has been selected for placement with a local attorney licensed to practice in my state. It goes on to say that if a law suit is filed against me and a judgment is obtained the local attorney may take any action that is legally available. It goes on to urge me to set up payment arrangements at my earliest convenience so the account can be resolved without formal litigation. Should I be concerned? What should I do next? Sporty James
