I have contacted Langhorne and am still deciding whether or not I am going to follow through with using them. My biggest fear is that they will start calling my references and I don't want that to happen. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!!

I just encashed my points but realized I just moved....where do I update my address??? I tried the edit profile on the right, but there is nothing there for address change. I don't want it to go to my old address or get lost in the mail. anything I can do?

I received a $500 loan on June 27th,2008 from Centruion. I lost my job right after that. They have successully debited $600 from my account to date. They have submitted 16 additional ACH requests that have been denied by my bank. (Bank of America). BofA says there is really nothing i can do that will work... the deposit only option, stop payment etc as wrothless to stop this. Centruion says the check recovery company will keep submitting for 12 calendar months. What are my options? I do not want to close the account, andI do want to pay the loan.

I just made my first dmp payment (through Clearpoint Financial Solutions). According to my statment, my original debt amount is 12,119.27. My estimated balance remaining after they said they had my creditors give me a break is 11,865.97. Am I to understand that signing up for this program just saved me $250? Additionally, I pay a $35.00 client fee each month to Clearpoint. I'm just wondering if I'm reading this right. Any insight will help. Thank you!

If I never take care of a bad check listed on Chexsystems, will it ever fall of my Chexsystems consumer report?

i understand that when suing a CA you can recieve $1000 in statutory damages and then any actual damages. what exactly is considered actual damages?

My question is this: Is a collection agency that purchased an account which is now SOL, allowed to continue reporting for seven years from the time they purchased the account? The OC dropped off my credit reports a year ago. Aren't they legally suppose to drop off too, if no payments have been made? Should I notify the CRA?

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has settled with HSBC on their credit cards and checking plus account> Shaheda
