In 2007 I loan a friend of mine $800.00. She and I went to my bank and transfered the money from my account to her account. Three days later she skipped out on me. I have her full name, date of birth and social security number, but I do not know her whereabouts or employment status. I did report this to the local police dept and notified the bank to flag my account as well as the Credit Bureau. I already checked with the county court. I'm told I have to have an address on her in order to file a suite against her. Can I notifiy the IRS? Can they garnish my monies?

I live in Kentucky, and for the last 6 years, have been on this treadmill. I have 5 storefront loans at 3 different stores:Easy Money Exchange($300+$45 fee),Bluegrass Check Advance(2 $150 loans with $26 fee each), and Cash Express(2 $150 loans with $22.50 fee each). Recently, I opened another checking account, while leaving the other one open, and changed my direct deposit. I realize there'll be overdraft fees IF the bank pays them, but I don't have any other options. And my credit couldn't possibly be any worse!!

Monday is the day I go back to the doctor to see how my neck is doing and to find out if I go back to work or if I go on to surgery :? I stopped therapy a couple weeks ago (it was making it worse) and went to see a chiropractor (which I didn't believe in at the time) because I was in so much pain I was willing to try anything. Well I have to say that he has taken away about 70% of the pain. So thats a good thing. Last week I went in for a functional capicaty evaluation (sp??) OMG you do not do that if you are not in shape.
