if i owe capital one for an old charge off account, do i really owe this new collection company who bought the bad debt?

Is there anyone out here that has done debt settlement with Superior that lives in GA? Is was all done legally? Are they a lawyer based company? Thanks

I have started a debt counseling program through a company called CCC (credit counseling corp). I have had nothing but problems with them. All of a sudden, the creditors that I have debt with, but didn't have harrassing calls, STARTED CALLING! Then, the monthly payment that was auto debited from my checking account was always there in the account but some of the creditors claimed they never got any payments!

Can I settle personally guaranteed business debt?

Hi! I just joined this forum but have been reading post of awhile. I live in pa and from what I can tell...my pdls are from legal lenders (cashspot, payday one). My loans are current and coming due Friday. The first was $400 but is down to $280. The second started at $300 and is now at $900. That is the principals, not all the interest and fee's etc. My question is since these are legal, how do I get them under control. I really hate to mess with our bank account but I am thinking that is my only choice. Also, how do I keep these companies from harrassing me at work.

I have gotten myself in a real jam and have been reading all these posts, but am overwhelmed and don't know where to start. My fiance had liver failure back in March and got a transplant in May, but the costs going back and forth to the hospital became overwhelming and, stupid me, I took out payday loans. Now I don't have any money left on payday and am probably going to lose my house. I have 7 pdl. I live in PA.

I contacted PDL assistance with some questions regarding my accounts with 500 fast cast, united cash loans and one click cash . They did state that no of these companies are legal in the State of Ilinois. They also told me that they could settle for 30%. My question is this - I borrowed $450 from One Click Cash and have already payed them $180.00 by moneygram. That would already be my 30%. United Cash Loans I borrowed $350 and have already moneygrammed $140.00 I still have my receipts for these. 500 Fast cash I borrowed $350 and have not paid them yet.

how hard is it to get a credit card company to agree to lower interest rate and amount owed?
