Just wanted to give another update. The state of WI sent them this e-mail today to their "Compliance" department as well as the fax # I highly doubt they will answer but will be intersting since gave her all required documentation. I also gave her my statements from when CheckNGo, cashnetusa had my account they will be contacting them next (Found out they tired debiting my account three times when they were only suppose to twice once they realized my account was over drawn. Will give an update on that.

I've seen posts related to my issue. However, I'm still in need of help. My bank account is frozen. The court date isn't until Nov 5th. In the meantime, I have no funds. They froze it due to a credit card in my husband's name and we have a joint checking account. My questions are: 1 What are the chances of the judge taking everything in the account for this $18k that my husband owes. 2a what exactly is the wildcard exemption for IL? 2b Can I make the $3500 in the bank totally exempt based on that? 3 Can I go to court earlier to try to have the funds released?

This company called me today. I said I didn't live at the number they called. They are not on my credit report. Who do they collect for? Asset? Citibank? or Providian, maybe? I have never gotten a statement in the mail from them.

I am in need of some advice on my student loans. I have $47,551 in student loan debt and while I am able to manage my payments ok and have been for the last 5 years I am really starting to get more and more worried about them. I am to the point were I can not manage to save any money at all due to it all going to bills and I can not even afford to live on my own. Kind of sucks being almost 30 and still living with my parents.

Here's the deal. I took a look at my credit report for the first time. I know this is stupid since I'm almost 30, but, it's never to late to start right? RIGHT? (please say I'm right) I need to know where to start. I have 6 negative marks on my report, only one of them is what I would consider major (over $1,000 due to apartment thing from 2001), but, all of them had gone to collections (I was VERY dumb in my younger days). From what I'm reading, once these are paid off, they will continue to be on my report for 7 years, is that correct?
