I defaulted on a loan for $6607. back in 2004 with Household Finance. It was charged off on 05/2006. It has been sold several times and I just recently received a call from Taylor Pc Lawfirm that wanted me to call them by a certain time or they were going to send me court. I have never received any information that they purchased the loan. I looked into my credit report and it looks like a midland credit management purchased the loan and resubmitted it back into my credit report, but with a balance of $8991.

I have an outstanding debt of $8424 and spoke with collection attorney about payments. They informed me there would be a judgement filed in the county I live in. What does that mean? They said I needed to contact an attorney to get that information. I am in Montgomery County, Texas.

Has anyone delt and had experience with Consumer credit counseling Services? How do they work?

They have 2 of my credit card accounts. I talked with them on the phone and set up a payment plan with them. Now after finding this site and reading everything, I figure I shouldn';t have done this. Is there a way I can get out of it? Or am I stuck now until I get it all paid off? I am being smarter now with other collection agencies and sending letter, not talking on the phone, etc.

How does it start and what do i need upfront

Does anyone know who I can apply with to get a personal loan (not a payday loan!) even with horrible credit ?

I'm meeting with an attorney soon and he wants me to wirte a list of all the creditors that I am including. All of them have been transferred to a collection agency. Do I list the collection agency instead of the original creditor, honestly, I don't know the original creidtor's address and some of the account numbers have changed now, the collection agencies assign their own file numbers to these accounts, do I use thier file numbers or the original account numbers?

How adding mortgage forum? With foreclosures being high right now, it would nice to have all the information in one section, as opposed to all over the place.

I got a call from A R Systems. Has anyone dealt with them? I never got a call from any collection agency earlier. I am scared and don't know how to deal with them. Can anyone help?
