Hi guys. I am new to this forum. I have a quesiton. I took out a payday loan of only $150 off the internet. this was I believe 2 years ago. I got a call from Tyler and Morgan. They said that my account was given to them and that it is the last straw. The told me that they will take me to court. I live out in Hawaii. I was like wow for a $150. That is crazy. But they were saying a lot of stuff to scare me. I have every intention of paying it back but have been struggling. $150 doesnt sound like much but it is when you have a lot to pay.

I have just done my first round of DV letters and I have a question about what to do next. I thought I read that once you receive the return reciept then you should dispute that CA's listing on your CR. Is this correct? One of the CAs has 30 separate listings on my CR. Do I have to dispute each one or is there a way to dispute all listings from one company? This will be the first time that I have ever disputed something on my CR. Can I do all 3 CRAs by email or do I have to do CMRRR? TIA for your help!

Ok I have a friend who is letting their car get repoed because they no longer want to make the payments. Now, the thing hasn't been repoed yet and strangely enough the CA said they were not going to repo, that they were going to report the car stolen. My friend is worried about this and knows I know about fixing credit but I haven't a clue about this. Can a company report a car that is seriously late in payments be reported stolen? I wouldn't think so, but since I don't know for sure I thought I would ask before I tell her to tell the CA to bug off.

I had a returned check in 10/2004. the Law offices of paul r stassinos said to mail a certain amount by a certain date in 2004 i mailed them check abount plus a fee so total paid was $158.46(check written was 128.71) they are now mailing me saying i didnt pay on time and are charging me 3x amount of check this happened in 2004. what am i to do?the grocery store i wrote check to is not even in business any more. they have receipt of payment they say it wasnt post marked in time in 2004. what is the statue of limitations on this? _________________

Attorney had recently sheriff serve civil summons on car loan debt. Car repo'd many years ago, it is now past SOL from the date it was repo'd. I wanted to settle and made some payments couple of years back. The agreement was to make two payments. I made the first one, not the second. I am guessing SOL reset to the date I missed the second payment.

I am refaincing my house to pay credit debtoff and capitol one has placed a lein on my house i am from pa.my husband has called them and andre(smartass) tells him he a bum and he needs to pay it in full now and then continues to get cocky left and right so my husband says I am trying to clear this so you can get paid and he still keeps going so finally he hangs up.What should I do know without him settling with us we can't refiance to pay?Please help
