I have read a lot on this site and all of you have alot of very helpful advice.I have a few payday loans out that i am in process of trying to clear up. i live in new york. webpayday 719 remaining united cash 430 remaining 1 click cash 510 remaining ameriloan 306 remaining I know how incredibly to stupid it was to get involved with in the first place, but this is where I am. I've began by doing what some of you have said and closed my account that was associated with them. I have payments set up with ameriloan for half one day and the other two weeks later.

My husband got about 4 calls at work today from someone named Paul at NES collection agency. They were told each time that they couldn't contact him at work but they continued anyway. So my husband called me and gave me the number. I called them and they said they are a collection agency calling about my husbands citicard. He got this card before we got married. They say there is a $9,000 balance on it and that they are filing the subpoena tomorrow and that they are suppose to start asset discovery.

Quick facts about my situation. About 75k in credit card and personal loan debt. Total monthly min is about 1600. All accounts current but starting to become late. Best plan to get out of debt? Join a debt settlement? Don't make paymnts and save until maybe the credit company offers setlemen amount? Bankruptcy? Don't know what to do and I know it all will hurt my credit but which is less damaging? Will I ever get out?

I just received copies of papers that filed as "lawsuit" against me and want to know what i can do to keep them from garnishment. I do owe the money but i would like to set up a payment plan. So how do i approach this. There is a attorne's name at the bottom of one of the papers. Do i send something to them or what do i do? Help!

If a customer sign over a Power of attorney to a negotiator. Do the creditor have to speak with the Negotiator. Also if the Power of Attorney states not to speak w/customer. Do we have to honor it.

I have an exgirl frend that obtained credit and telling everybody we were married. She nearly cost me my career and I kicked her out of the house. I continuously get phone calls from debt collectors wanting her and when I tell them where she lives she contacts the judge telling them that I am stalking her. What should I do it has been 3 years dealing with her !@#%$%^% shit.
