I am caught in the cycle owing numerous PDLs and have been trying to pay them off. In some cases I pay off current loans in full only to have to re-borrow to pay basic bills. I am stuck in an endless cycle of paying interest rates which are outrageous. I live in NYS and now realize that these loans are illegal and that I owe the principal on each and not the excessive interest. The question I have is that I have two PDLs which I repaid and took out numerous loans, can and should I ask for a refund of interest payments on the past loans?

I LIVE IN NEW YORK.  JUST 1 QUESTION - I KNOW PDL'S ARE ILLEGAL IN NEW YORK BUT LETS SAY THE COMPANY I BORROWED FROM IS IN A STATE WHERE IT IS LEGAL...CAN THAT COMPANY SUE ME IN THEIR STATE - NOT NY?

I just sent my emails to Plain Green Loans & to Cash Direct Express. I am anxiously awaiting the responses. I will keep you posted and I will post the responses if I am unsure of how to respond and need further help. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders I am just hoping this works for us! I love this forum!!!!!!!! 

I have really got myself into a mess and need help. I have 4 payday loans out and do not have the funds to pay them. I live in Missouri.

Netcredit              borrowed 1100   paid 0   ( payment is 173 )

I am sitting here at 4 AM in the morning unable to sleep because of the stupid mistakes I have made.  I needed money and now  im caught up in the payday loan nightmare.

Cashnet USA   borrowed 900 have 2 more payments ( 153 and 73 )

Ameriloan        borrowed 500    paid 0   $81 payment twice a month

Net Cash         borrowed  1100   paid 0   $153.00 twice a month.

               Hello, I just found out that my father had a judgment filed against him for his credit card debt with CitiBank and Discover.  He has some kind of a meeting with one of the lawyers who was suing him on January 8^th and I am trying to figure out what can be done to help him out.  I will try to provide whatever details I can and would greatly appreciate any advice.
